Outdated MLM Lead Generation Vs. Innovative Technology Method

Lead generation is one of the most important aspects of growing and sustaining a successful MLM business. In order to assess your efforts take a minute and answer the following questions.

  1. Are you a part of an MLM that preaches a "proven plan"?
  2. Are most of the network marketers in your company successful following the "proven plan" or are the majority struggling to survive?
  3. Does the "proven plan" include inviting your friends, family and circle of influence to a home meeting?
  4. Does the "proven plan" encourage purchasing business cards and handing them out at Starbucks or any other community location?
  5. Does the "proven plan" provide training on third party validation calls called "three way calls."
  6. Does your "proven plan" encourage you to spend hours creating list of people you know and once that list is exhausted you move on to cold calling?
  7. Does your "proven plan" blame you for not working hard enough or not following the "proven plan" if you are not achieving success?
  8. Are the majority of the meetings/conferences/conventions a "raw-raw" session without providing successful proven tools?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, don't feel bad, you are definitely part of the majority within the network marketing family. Albert Einstein is quoted as saying "Insanity is doing the same thing, over and over again, but expecting different results."

Nfl 2012

You see, prior to technology, these were the ONLY options. In fact, they were and in most cases still are the primary tools of 2012 network marketer. These options were the "Holy Grail" of MLM companies. Manuals were developed, scripts were written and motivation meetings were scheduled.

Now, I will be the first to say these resources are not ALL bad. In fact, some of them have worked and helped me grow my networks. However, the growth was too slow, requiring me to "create" more hours in the day and unfortunately it was still costing me more money to be a part of my plan and to market my product than what I was making.

If the bottom line is truly the bottom line, I could not afford to quit my day job to become a full-time network marketer. Not if I wanted to continue paying my bills, driving my car and eating on a regular basis. Now, I don't know about you, but the reason I got involved in my network or my "why" is that I want to be my own boss, I wanted to break the glass ceiling and create my own income potential, I wanted to use my talents, skills and influence to benefit me and those I love...not make someone else rich. I want to choose when I wanted to work and when I wanted to play. That is my personal wellness plan.

The elephant in the room that is not being talked about in most network companies and was not talked about with my up line were real tangible ways to grow my team with skilled players. They just kept telling me to try harder, follow the "proven system" and do more home meetings even after I exhausted all the people I knew and the people they knew.

I needed tried and proven methods that create unlimited leads of quality professionals. In other words, if you are in charge of putting together a professional football team, you probably would not be standing at Starbucks handing out business cards or cold calling leads or inviting friends and family to be your NFL quarterback or running back. I would need to look in very different locations to find the next RGIII. So what is the solution to finding skilled MLM team players? TECHNOLOGY.

Technology has many benefits with the obvious being the ability to connect with the shear masses and target MLM quarterbacks. Technology can maximize your existing knowledge, develop new skills and expand your leadership to a whole new level. Technology can duplicate your efforts exponentially 24/7, 365 days a year. Technology allows the network team members who commit and put in the effort to succeed at the same level as the top producers in the company. Technology can allow you to work from home, manage your day, your time doing what you love...networking. Technology allows you to go to Starbucks and enjoy your favorite cup of joe. Technology allows you to reduce your marketing cost, travel expense and maximizes your return on investment (ROI). Technology improves your self esteem and self confidence since you eliminate people hanging up on you and laughing in your face. You will be empowered knowing that you are working efficiently and effectively. Technology allows you to spend time with your friends, family and circle of influence without feeling the pressure to share the "proven plan" at every gathering. In addition, if you want to be motivated...have fun...cheer and celebrate success, quit doing what you have been doing and get results with a new proven system, TECHNOLOGY!

Technology is dramatically changing the network marketing industry. The choice is yours, you can keep doing what you have been doing and getting the same sad results or you can embrace change and unleash a steady flow of new customers and professional distributors in your down line - all on virtual autopilot.

War on Terror: What and Why

On the morning of September 11, 2001 in New York City, everything seemed perfectly normal. However, on that morning, a passenger plane crashed into one of the World Trade Center buildings. Another plane crashed into the second one. A third plane flew right into the Pentagon building. A fourth plane was headed for Washington, D.C. However, the passengers on the plane found out that the plane was about to crash and kill them, so they took control and crashed it themselves, far away from Washington. They were all dead. Along with them, everyone in the airplanes and World Trade Center and around had been killed. Some people in the Pentagon were also dead. In all, nearly 3000 people were killed in the attacks. The attacks in New York City on September 11, 2001 became known as 9/11, and the worst terrorist attack in US history. A horrible way for US to celebrate the turn of the century.

After a series of searches, the US found out that the group who was involved in the attacks was a terrorist group called al-Qaeda, led by a man named Osama bin Laden. We also found out many of al-Qaeda's members were from and trained in a very poor country in southern Asia called Afghanistan. US military forces invaded Afghanistan. US made lots of progress in fighting the Afghan troops and defending the Afghan and US citizens. Afghanistan had been ruled by a religiously fanatical government called the Taliban, which made poor laws and decisions that made life for the people almost impossible to live happily. "The US military overthrew the Taliban government (1)", and a democracy was adopted by Afghanistan. Another achievement made in the war was "the killing of al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden (2)". It took many years to find him. He had snuck into the nation of Pakistan, where he hid for years. The US gathered information for years, and finally found out his location. US Navy troops were sent to Pakistan to find him. Eventually, he was killed. Al-Qaeda chose their new member shortly after, who was also killed. The US military has suffered casualties during the war. One of the war veterans killed during the war was "football player Pat Tillman, who left the NFL and went to serve in the Army in Afghanistan. He was killed by friendly fire (3)." The news was then censored by the government when they thought it would scare people into refusing to serve in the military, or it would mislead people into thinking that friendly fire is intentional and people from same forces kill each other. It was later released, and the amount of people who enlisted did not drop. Another casualty was Navy veteran Michael Murphy. Murphy and his group were in a scene involving fire in 2005. Murphy then exposed himself to the fire to alert the US troops, and died. He then received the Medal of Honor for his action. Very recently, a ship was named after him, on the day he would have turned 35. Many others have lost their lives while serving in Afghanistan.

Nfl 2012

During our searching on the attacks, our other eye focused on Iraq, another poor nation in Asia. We had believed that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction. Our hypothesis included backup information from when the US military went to fight against Iraq "the previous decade (4)", who had invaded and taken control of the smaller nation of Kuwait. This was known as the Gulf War. US then invaded Iraq. Iraq was led for decades by dictator Saddam Hussein. Saddam Hussein had done many corrupt acts during his leadership, such as violently invade the nation of Kuwait, and take control of it. That led to the Gulf War that US was involved in. By now Hussein was hiding, and it was obvious that many people didn't want him to be in power. Eventually he was caught by the US forces and executed on live The US has suffered casualties in Iraq. One of the casualties was "Chance Phelps, who died in a firing scene. (5)" The film Taking Chance described how his body was brought back to his home to get buried. Another casualty was soldier "Ross McGinnis, who was in an automobile with a group of soldiers in a combat scene at the time he died. A grenade was thrown at his group. McGinnis jumped at the grenade, and his body absorbed the explosion. He was the only one of the group who was killed in the explosion. He was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor for his action. (6)" Another incident (not death) was with soldier Brendan Marocco. Marocco survived a bomb explosion, but was severely injured. All four of his limbs were removed. "US President Barack Obama removed many troops from Iraq recently, so he could increase troops in Afghanistan (7)". He said on a recent interview in the Tonight Show with Jay Leno that the war in Iraq should end sooner. Probably because Iraq has so far done better than Afghanistan with the new democracy, and because the Taliban has left Afghanistan in more ruins than Saddam Hussein's dictatorship has left Iraq.

The War on Terror has helped and hurt the US in many ways. When the US started going through economic problems, the country's ability to spend on itself became hard due to the amount of money going towards the troops. They had to borrow large amounts of money from other countries, leading to a very high international debt, that could have been easily paid if so much money wasn't going towards the military. The War on Terror also affects the reputation of the US. Many nations could think that US is an imperial nation, because of invading two countries in two years. US is not imperial. Large amounts of research and debating is done by US before any serious decision is made, such as if it is right to invade a country. US has helped itself and other countries, because by killing and imprisoning al-Qaeda members and taking their equipment, they are reducing al-Qaeda's ability to lead another attack in another place. Does this mean all cities in the world have to set up no-fly zones and set up police everywhere in case a terrorist will attack? No! Completely unnecessary. Terrorist groups are definitely things that governments and militarizes should look out for, but no need for paranoia. Putting a no-fly zone over a city will not be helpful. There are many reasons why al-Qaeda has attacked, and preventing these reasons from happening among the people of the world will help prevent terrorism. We don't know when a terrorist will strike in the future, but to prevent it from occurring, we can improve child education, security, policing, and anything else that would reduce terrorism in any way. "The War on Terror is ongoing with both wars (8)(9)", and the US has done a good job during it, but it should end sooner.

Are You Ready To Win In 2012?

2012 is almost upon us. And I have some good news and some bad news in regards to the year ahead.

The bad news? If you think you're running fast now, get yourself some new track shoes, because the world isn't slowing down. In fact, it is only going to continue to go faster and get more complex. The good news is that we can turn this challenge into an opportunity by embracing three leadership strategies.

Super Bowl 2012

1. Get clear about winning.

I don't mean partially clear, or sort of clear. I mean crystal clear on what winning looks like for your organization.

Become obsessive about winning, defining it with as much specificity as possible. Talk about it all the time with employees and other key stakeholders. Put visual reminders around you. Prompt yourself via your smart phone. Make sure every meeting starts out talking about winning. Embed your definition of winning into all your ways of working.

The hard part is that we can no longer define winning once, and then let it go. We now have to constantly revise and update our picture of winning as the world changes around us. We need to continually think about winning, continually fine-tune our version of winning, and continually move towards it while bringing our employees along with us.

Why is the pursuit of winning so important?

In keeps people focused and motivated. It aligns them with the vision and direction of the organization. It gives them a sense of purpose and a reason to show up for work every day. And it gives people the courage and tenacity to fight through setbacks and adversity.

Perhaps most important, winning helps people believe they can accomplish anything. Just look at what Tim Tebow is doing with the Denver Broncos. He has taken his team from last to first in their division in less than half a season. And he's got them (and an entire city) believing they could go all the way to the Super Bowl. And even if they don't, the ride will have been an amazing one setting them up to be winners next season as well.

What could your team accomplish if people knew what winning looked like, believed they could do it, and focused on it every day?

2. Shed your outdated ways of looking at the world.

What gets in the way of winning?

More often than not, it's our old ideas about what we "know to be true" about our customers, markets, and industries. It's our brain's natural tendency to screen in information that agrees with our view of the world and screen out data that contradicts it. And it's our thought bubbles (unspoken thoughts and assumptions) that tell us what made us successful in the past will continue to make us successful in the future.

I'm not saying all old ideas are bad. But when our world changes so quickly, we need to make a habit of checking our ideas, assumptions, and beliefs on a regular basis. And by regular, I mean every few months, at minimum. Once a year will not cut it!

Start by gathering information on what you know to be true. Not what you assume, speculate or hope, but what you know to be true through verifiable data. For example, aging populations, changing employee demographics, shifting customer communication channels, etc. Then compare this data with what you think you know to be true.

Put the two data sets together and begin to explore:

  • Of what we know to be true, what is no longer true? Why?
  • What has changed with our customers? Our industry?
  • What new wants or needs do our customers have?
  • What new services and/or products can we come up with to meet those needs?
  • How can we redefine value in our market?

3.Slow down to go fast.

I've been talking about this concept for several years, and it becomes even more important in 2012.

Slowing down to go fast requires pausing occasionally to step back from your day-to-day, and re-evaluate the world around you. Take a look at trends and significant events beyond the walls of your business, and even your industry as a whole. What are other companies doing that might be applied to your business? What patterns and connections can you make that other people might not see?

Get in the habit of asking "what if" questions like: What if we could solve the one "unsolvable" problem that everyone in our industry is ignoring? Or, what would happen if our biggest competitor suddenly went out of business? Focus on identifying opportunities to add value to your customers in ways that nobody else is doing. Develop significant initiatives that support leveraging those opportunities, and get (and keep) everyone in your organization clear on achieving them.

Set yourself up to win by creating space for your brain to ponder, wonder, explore, and connect. For example, start meetings by asking, "When we have done this incredibly well, how will we have done it?" This will prompt your brain to look for solutions rather than what's in the way.

Winning is about subtle shifts in language and behavior each and every day. Ultimately, it comes down to whether you're looking for and working towards solutions, or talking about and focusing on roadblocks.

Spotting the winners

It's easy to tell the companies that have a clear picture of winning versus those that don't. For example, Southwest Airlines is really clear on their mission as the low-cost provider. No baggage fees. No change fees. Constantly fine-tuning faster ways to load the airplane. They get it, their employees get it, and so do their loyal customers.

Counter this with American Airlines, which recently filed for bankruptcy. I frequently fly American because I live in San Diego and have limited options. I have no clue how their leadership defines winning, but I am guessing it varies dramatically from how their flight attendants and gate personnel currently define it. I often wonder if their idea of winning is to see how badly they can tick off their passengers every day.

When it comes to winning, make sure everyone in your ecosystem gets it. Not just employees, but suppliers, vendors, partners, alliances, and even (and especially) your customers. When you're a winner, it's obvious to those who meet you and work with you.

Get clear on winning in 2012. Start looking at the world differently. And slow down to go fast so that you can focus on solutions rather than what's getting in the way. Playing to not lose is just as hard and not nearly as much fun!

Football is a Brutal Sport and There is a Lot of Money Involved

The National Football League or NFL has some bit of integrity behind it. Surely, it is a business, and football is an action sport, it's a tough sport, and you can see that even without watching it on high definition TV. But what happens when it becomes a full on war of brutality on the field? Well, it wouldn't be the only sport which has knockout, drag out action on pay-per-view, or signing big licenses with major TV networks. I'd like to talk to you about this for a moment because something has come to my attention which is somewhat alarming for NFL fans.

There was an interesting article, an Op-Ed, in the Wall Street Journal in March 7, 2012 titled; "Football's Bounty Hunters Must Be Clipped - Payments for causing injury are unacceptable. Gregg Williams should never be seen in the NFL again," by Frank Tarkenton - the editorial was quite telling;

Nfl 2012

"Former New Orleans Saints Defensive Coordinator established a bounty system that rewarded players-not for tough, clean football plays but for injuring other players for 3-seasons paying bonuses to players for knocking opponents out of the game. The rewards were ,500 for a knockout, and ,000 if the player had to be carted off the field. In the playoffs, rewards doubled and tripled. Later, linebacker coach offered a ,000 bounty to any Saints player who could knock Minnesota Vikings quarterback Brett Favre out of the NFC Championship Game during the Saints Super Bowl run in the 2009 season."

The reality is, when a boxer knocks out all his opponents, he moves up in the ranks, and then he gets more money from his sponsors and more money on pay-per-view to knockout the next person. If the knocks them out hard enough then they do leave in a stretcher or ambulance, and that's what people want to see. However with the NFL, these players are paid huge amounts of money, and the amount of money a player might lose, or a team might lose in ticket sales if they can't sell seats in the stadium for the next game is crucial.

Most of the billionaires who own these companies take great pride in winning. They don't want their NFL team to lose. There is a tremendous amount of pressure on coaches, players, and their owners to win, often at all costs. After all that's what it's about, this is not a pansy-ass sport playing patty cake. Therefore, one has to ask; as bad as this sounds is it really all that surprising?

No matter what type of pads that you put on, what kind of hats you wear, or what type of protections you take - when you have men of pure strength, agility, skill, mass, and running at full speed that are over 250 pounds - crashing into each other obviously there will be injuries.

Paying for performance, or rewarding players for making excellent plays is one thing, paying them to injure other players is quite another. This isn't boxing after all, this is the NFL. And therefore I ask if; "you'll make the call." Please consider all this and think on it.

Top Five Ways of Becoming a Better Sales Coach

Sales Managers execute several roles and wear many hats: manager, trainer and coach. These multiple roles can create challenges for some sales managers. Where should they invest their time? Should it be in attending internal meetings? Analyzing reports? Training and coaching the sales team? If you are serious about hitting and exceeding your revenue goals for 2012, invest your time in training and coaching your sales team. (It makes analyzing reports a whole lot more fun when the numbers are in the black.)

Sales managers may have attended sales training courses on their journey to mastering the art and science of sales. How many sales managers have attended training and coaching courses to learn how to transfer the skills that made them a top producer? In the words of Jack Welch, former CEO of GE, "Before you are a leader, success is all about growing yourself. When you become a leader, success is all about growing others.

We have found the best sales managers make the leap from producer to teacher. If you can't teach and grow others, you are doomed to be the major rainmaker versus a sales leader.

Here are five tips to help you grow your sales team.

#1: Know when to train and know when to coach. Training is telling and imparting knowledge. Coaching is asking questions to make sure that the knowledge landed in the salesperson's gray matter. When a sales manager identifies a performance issue, they usually go into training mode, telling and teaching the salesperson a sales technique or concept one more time. The problem may not be about selling skills. In working with sales teams for over a decade, we have found that salespeople know what to do, however, don't execute selling skills because they don't believe it works or it make them uncomfortable.

It's time to take off the training hat and put on the coaching hat. Ask questions that help change the salesperson's paradigms and beliefs. Presumptive questions are a great coaching tool for shifting perspective.

For example, "When you asked the prospect how much the problem was costing, what did she say? When you shared with the prospect that you couldn't put together a recommendation until you met with the CFO, what did he say?" The answers from the salesperson range from, "I can't ask that question" or "I forgot." A couple of good follow-up coaching questions are:

· "What makes you believe that? Is that perception or real data?

· What is the reason is that you keep forgetting? Is it knowledge or comfort zone?

· What will you do differently the next time?

If you want better answers, ask better questions.

#2: Document your sales process. If you don't have a defined sales process, you don't have anything to train, coach or inspect.

Many companies state that have a defined sales process, however, there is no written documentation such as key questions to ask during the sales process, value propositions, gaps in the competitors offering or common objections.

Some sales managers respond with the excuse, "I hire people with ten years experience....they should know how to sell." Have you heard of something called the NFL? They hire players with years of experience and pay them millions of dollars to play. The NFL wouldn't dream of a team showing up to a game without working from a common playbook. They know a playbook allows a football team to sit down, review the films and see where they executed well and where they fell short. The players can debrief the game because they have a process to compare, analyze and improve against. Without a defined sales process, a sales manager is forced to debrief 10 different playbooks with very average results.

#3: Eliminate fire hose training. Training is often delivered through an impact training model: two days or two weeks of training with NO reinforcement. Effective sales managers know that reinforcement coaching and training allows the sales manager to take her team from:

· Unconscious incompetent (don't know what they don't know) to

· Conscious incompetent (they know they don't know) to

· Conscious competent (they know how) to

· Unconscious competent (the salesperson is masterful)

Reinforcement is the key to mastery. Think about how you learned in grade school. Remember multiplication tables? Flash cards were held up and you repeated the formula's over and over until they landed in long term memory. (Okay, I am dating myself.) Sales managers need to hold flash card sessions with their sales team to develop their selling skills on:

· Dealing with objections

· Developing and delivering customized value propositions for various buyers

· Quantifying the cost of the problem or opportunity

· Ask impact questions

These are fundamental skills that eliminate chase mode, price shopping and looking and sounding like your competition.

#4: Prioritize your time. There are the corporate meetings to attend, reports to analyze and of course, investing time with the team. If you want to grow revenues in 2012, make training and coaching your number one priority.

A successful sales manager in Denver, Colorado, invests one hour each week with 16 direct reports. Is it difficult for him to find the time to meet with his team and balance all the other responsibilities on his plate? Yes. Did his sales team grow revenues 20% in a flat market and competitive market? Yes. Time is a limited asset. Choose to invest it wisely.

#5: Stretch your team. You signed up for leadership and part of that responsibility is stretching your sales team. Push salespeople out of comfort zones by following Eleanor Roosevelt's quote, "Do one thing every day that scares you." Call on that prospect you've been avoiding. Ask the tough questions during a sales call. Insist on excellence and don't allow your sales team to settle for being average. Vince Lombardi, the legendary football coach said, "If you settle for nothing less than your best, you will be amazed at what you can accomplish in your life."

Watch NFL Games From Internet - Watch Free Football Matches Online

How do you watch NFL on your computer

The new technology of internet TV has enabled more than 5 million people in the USA alone to watch satellite TV on their PCs. I personally tried watching the internet TV after I couldn't manage to convince my family that my NFL playoffs were a matter of life and death. There is nothing as hard as convincing your kids or your wife that the family TV is better when used to watch sports like the NFL games.

Nfl 2012

Try reasoning with them and you will get to know why you get to buy the TVs but forfeit the right to watch it the minute it gets home. At home you are considered an adult and adults don't watch TV... your kid will reason out, and sorry no watching your game tonight.

National Football League on your pc

It was the beginning of last years NFL playoffs and I could not get an opportunity to watch the games from the family TV. I bought one of those satellite TV softwares and installed it in my laptop. The software has made it possible for me to watch the National Football League matches from virtually anywhere. Whenever there is a game, all I do is go to my home office, laptop in tow; connect it to the internet and use the already installed software to watch all my matches in the privacy of my home office.

Sometimes when I'm feeling abit tired, I decide to watch the playoffs from my bedroom. All I need is to extend the internet cable into my bedroom.

These online TV services are also available for you if you want to catch the NBA or NFL games without making enemies with everyone else at home. Or better still if you are traveling and want to watch favorite football games on the internet. I want to show you the service that I have been using to connect to internet TV so that you may also be able to enjoy your games in private.

Satellite TV Softwares for Watching the NFL Series

There are many online TV softwares being sold on the internet which are just BS. You see, internet TV reception is a tricky affair and most of these companies haven't really mastered how to deliver quality picture and sound. Most of them don't even care the quality of service you get after you buy their "software".

I want to assure you that there are still a few good companies that pioneered the development of satellite TV softwares. These offer good service and the quality of their programs is high. Finding the good ones can however be a challenge that may take you forever before getting the right company.

Watching the NFL games with PC 2007Elite Edition

The service that I have relied upon to watch my NFL games is the Elite Edition 2007. They have many sports channels including the NFL playoffs among the many other thousands channels. In addition, the company has also put together radio stations, which you can listen to as you work at home or in the office. The variety of sports channels include ESPN, Euro sports and other extreme sports not shown on normal TV like raw Thailand kickboxing and others.

I used this service last year to watch the super bowl and the other matches of the NFL Series without skipping a single playoff. The good thing is that I was able to record the semis and the finals into my laptop which I kept rerunning way past the end of the season.

In addition I also get to watch many other TV channels including educational, shopping, science, geographical, music videos, among many others. The software also has TV channels from over 70 other countries around the world and in different languages. There are also many soccer channels from Europe, Americas, and Africa.

All this variety in TV channels has a set up cost of .95 for the initial start up. The company does not charge any other monthly fees ever after the initial charge. The .95 is all you will ever need to pay to watch all the NFL games you want and in a way seems like a steal of a deal.

A List of the Highest Paid Football Players in the NFL

In researching information for this article, the latest data for the presentation of the highest salaries in the NFL is for the 2008 season. It should be noted that this list changes from year to year. Also, the salary cap imposed by the NFL commission increases from year to year. The salary cap is the amount of money an NFL team can spend on salaries for their players per year. The salary cap has progressively increased year by year since its inception back in 1994.

The NFL salary cap, as negotiated by the players Union in the current collective bargaining agreement, is 62.24% of all football related revenue divided by 32 teams. For the 2009 season that figure is 128 million dollars.

Nfl 2012

The following shows the steady increase in salary cap since 1999:

Salary Cap Per Team for NFL Player Salaries by Year:

2008 6 million

2007 9 million

2006 2 million

2005 .5 million

2004 .5 million

2003 million

2002 million

2001 .5 million

2000 .2 million

1999 .4 million

As the salary cap increases, so does the salary of players. The real question is how is the money distributed to players. There is a type of salary distribution model that teams use which is not known to the general public. What is known is that the top 20 salaries for 2008 only had a couple of quarterbacks. Yet the highest paid player for 2008 was quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. So who were the highest paid NFL players for 2008. The following table tells it all:

TOP 20 HIGHEST PAID PLAYERS IN 2008

1. QB Ben Roethlisberger, Pittsburgh $ 27,701,920

2. DE Jared Allen, Minnesota $ 21,119,256

3. WR Larry Fitzgerald, Arizona $ 17,103,480

4. QB JaMarcus Russell, Oakland $ 16,872,400

5. RB Michael Turner, Atlanta $ 16,003,840

6. G Chris Snee, N.Y. Giants $ 14,890,000

7. CB Asante Samuel, Philadelphia $ 14,145,000

8. WR Randy Moss, New England $ 14,006,720

9. T Flozell Adams, Dallas $ 14,005,760

10.DT Tommy Kelly, Oakland $ 13,978,480

11. WR Terrell Owens, Dallas $ 13,731,560

12. WR Bernard Berrian, Minnesota $ 13,705,000

13. T Michael Roos, Tennessee $ 13,505,520

14. C Jeff Faine, Tampa Bay $ 13,105,760

15. DE Will Smith, New Orleans $ 12,950,000

16. QB Tony Romo, Dallas $ 12,886,600

17. G Travelle Wharton, Carolina $ 12,850,000

18. DE Antwan Odom, Cincinnati $ 12,800,000

19. CB Terence Newman, Dallas $ 12,611,240

20. RB Marion Barber, Dallas $ 12,522,400

Lets examine the concept of salary in the NFL a little more closely. As previously stated, how teams pay their players and the value they place on them is known by only a few, including the player agent. It is interesting to note that having high salary players does not necessarily mean success to the team.

A case in point. One of the most successful NFL teams over the past ten years has been the New England Patriots. Yet only one player from the Patriots is in the top 20 for 2008. That is wide receiver Randy Moss. Yet Oakland, over the past ten years, which has two players in the top 20, has not seen the success that the Patriots have had. As a matter of fact, they have not even come close.

Also, you can see five players from the Dallas Cowboys in the top 20 list for 2008, yet they have not been in the Super Bowl since 1995 (Super Bowl XXX). It appears that the New England Patriots like to spread their money around to their players, so that one or a few players do not get an enormous salary while the rest of the players make a fraction of that amount. Randy Moss may be an exception to this rule.

This team concept of salary distribution that the Patriots employ falls in line with the team concept they have set for their players when it comes to playing football. The Patriot's organization believe that it requires a team effort to win football games, and not the superior effort of only a few players. Maybe that is one of the reasons the Patriots have been so successful over the past ten years. And lets not forget that the Patriots is one of the best managed teams in the NFL. Part of that management is proper salary distribution. Team owner Robert Kraft and head coach Bill Belichick seem to know what they are doing.

In any case, NFL player salaries continue to increase year by year. Today the lowest rookie makes a bare minimum of 5,000.00 (at least for 2007). In terms of all professional sports, the NFL players are the highest paid. This is why so many college players seek to get into the NFL. But it should also be remembered that the average length of a career for a player in the NFL is only 4 years. So obviously a player needs to make all he can during that short career. The question is are the players worth these very high salaries.

A persons salary is dependent on one major factor. That is how many other people can do the job they are doing? The fewer the number of people that can perform a particular job, the higher the salary. Not to many people can play in the NFL. Also, the players do deserve most of the revenue that is produced simply because, without the players, you would not have any business entity. And since fans are willing to pay the high ticket prices, then I would have to answer the question that yes, the players do deserve the salaries they receive.

Football is a form of entertainment, but it is a form of entertainment Americans can not do without. Even in the Roman period, people had a need to see the gladiators fight in the Colosseums. The Romans had to pay to see their gladiators fight to the death. Sometimes all the seats were free, if a rich person had given money to pay for the show. Other times, you had to pay, and it cost more money for the good seats than for the bad seats, so the poor people had to sit way up top in the Colosseum where it was hard to see. Even the Colosseums had their nosebleed seats. The point is, Romans were willing to pay to see the gladiator form of competition. This willingness to pay to see competition has existed throughout the history of mankind.

Every year, fans watch their teams with the hope that their team will reach the Super Bowl, or in some cases, simply end up with a winning season. And in the end, we really do not care to much about a players salary. As long as we enjoy watching our team play, we will continue to pay high ticket prices.

So to conclude, there are really two basic reasons why NFL players can make millions of dollars per year. First and foremost, fans are willing to pay high ticket prices to see their team play. Secondly, not to many people can play in the NFL. This results in a high demand for their skill. Lets face it, not to many people have the skill of a Tom Brady or a Ben Roethlisberger. So as long as the demand for tickets remains high, players will continue to enjoy a high income.

Watch the Super Bowl Online - How to Watch The Super Bowl Online

So, it is that time of year again. I am pumped about this year's super bowl. I am going to give you some information so that you can watch the super bowl online if you are not able to watch it live on TV.

With today's technology, it is very easy to do a lot of things that we were not used to do. Watching TV online is one of those great things. With new technology, you are now able to watch the super bowl online along with any other sporting event from now on. You will just have to pay a one time small fee.

Super Bowl 2012

Last year I missed the super bowl because I had to work. I hated it, so I set out to find out what I could do. I found a great program that let me watch the game right from the office without missing a play!

To do this, you will need a couple of things. First of all you will need a computer that is hooked to the Internet. The other thing that you are going to need is a piece of software that will cost around , but that is all you will ever have to pay.

The great thing about it is that once you buy the software, you can use it with lifetime access and watch all kinds of other sporting events online. You can even catch the newest movies.

So, all that you need to do in order to watch the super bowl online, is first a computer. It doesn't have to be a super computer. One that is no older than around 5 or 6 years should do fine. I use an old Dell that I got around 5 years ago without any problems.

The next thing that you are going to need is an Internet connection. I use an old 3Meg connection that I bought off of my local phone company around 2 years ago. It works great.

The last thing that you need is the software for you to be able to watch the super bowl online. And other than those three things, you are ready to go!

The Top 10 Greatest Quarterbacks of All Time

Everybody always loves to have this debate. Its an argument that will stand the test of time. Everytime someone new comes along the older quarterbacks will slowly be bumped off. Who knows what this list will look like 100 years from now? But without further ado, here is my list of the top10 quarterbacks of all time:

10) Terry Bradshaw - Might be most well known for being a commentator nowadays, but back in his playing days he just happen to have won 4 super bowls. The guy had an absolute cannon for an arm.

Super Bowl 2012

9) Steve Young - As gifted an athlete that has ever played the position. Always was in the shadow of Joe Montana. That quickly ended when he won his first Super Bowl.

8) Johnny Unitas - An icon of a foregone era. I believe the term "field general" was invented because of Unitas.

7) Fran Tarkenton -Sure, he never won the big one, but who cares? All you have to do is look at his stats. He was a quarterback who was way ahead of its time.

6) Joe Montana - Blessed to have an offensive genius for a coach, Montana led the 49ers as the team of the 80s and cemented his legacy with an incredible last minute drive to beat the Bengals in the Super Bowl.

5) Tom Brady - When this guy's career is over he might be number 1 on this list. He is almost exact replica of Joe Montana. He is part of an offensive system that was just made for him.

4) Peyton Manning - Not only is he an incredible quarterback, but he's also an amazing offensive coordinator. I don't think there has ever been a quarterback who understands the x's and o's of football better than Peyton Manning.

3) Brett Favre - Anybody who can play at that kind of level for that many consecutive games is nothing short of legendary. I'm a big fan of Cal Ripken but his ironman record pales in comparison to what Favre has done.

2) John Elway - No quarterback has ever played in more Super Bowls than John Elway. To put Elway's abilities in perspective, when he played the Broncos were always Super Bowl contenders. The moment he quit, the Broncos have become nothing but playoff hopefuls.

1) Dan Marino - Quite simply, the greatest pure passer to ever play the game. He never played with teams as complete as others on this list, but he threw passes that mere mortals should bot be able to pull off. With a lighting quick release, the football would be able to go through a brick wall.

How to Become an NFL Player Part 1

Becoming an NFL player was my dream since I was in junior high school, and I was one of the lucky few who actually made it all the way to the NFL. I have played for the New York Giants, the New Orleans Saints, the Washington Redskins, the Baltimore Ravens, and the Jacksonville Jaguars.

My life in the NFL was a remarkable experience. However, getting to the NFL was very difficult. In this article I want to discuss a few of the mental hurdles a young athlete will go through if they want to make it all the way to the NFL.

Nfl 2012

My preparation for the NFL began in high school when I realized that I had a chance to play Division One football. I attended an outstanding high school program at Eisenhower High School in Lawton, OK where I played against a rival school (Lawton High School) that has produced NFL talent including Michael Minter of the Carolina Panthers, Will Shields of the Kansas City Chiefs, Daly Gardner of the Miami Dolphins, James Trapp of the Oakland Raiders, and Jamal Brown of the New Orleans Saints.

Playing against the top athletes in high school really helped to raise my game to be the best it could be. As an athlete, your preparation for the pros starts when you decide you want to be the best athlete you can be for you--not for your parents, not for your girlfriend, and not for your friends. To be an NFL player you must have a burning desire to play with the best and you must do everything you can physically and mentally to make yourself able to compete with the best.

But being a great athlete is only half of what it takes to make it to the pros. Developing your mental skills is just as important as developing your physical skills.

First, you cannot play football if you have bad grades. The real work for becoming an NFL player starts in the classroom. For me, the class room was difficult and I had to work very hard to keep my grades up. But I understood that if my grades were bad, I would be kicked off the high school team. And, if I was kicked off the high school team, I would not be able to play college football, and college football is a requirement for becoming a pro player. Because of that, I worked very hard to keep my grades up.

If you want to become an NFL player, you must take your class work seriously to give yourself an opportunity to play college football. Here is a secret most student athletes don't know. Colleges love smart athletes. By being both a great student and a great athlete, you greatly increase your chances of being recruited by a scout for a major college football team. Why you ask? Smart players make smart decisions on the football field and help win games. If you look at many of the greatest NFL players, many of them are not the best athletes. What they are, are the smartest athletes. When you play in the pros, the plays are very complex and you need to think very quickly. That is why it is so important to build your brain power just as much as your athletic skills. Accomplishing this is one of the first big steps towards becoming a pro player.

Another important part of being a pro player is how you present yourself as a person. Do you get along well with your fellow athletes and coaches? Are you a good member of your community? College and pro teams want cooperative team members, not spoiled athletes that cause problems, get into trouble, and are an embarrassment to the organization. An athlete that causes problems with his team members and gets into trouble with the law hurts a team. Problem players are quickly removed from competitive sports teams. Therefore, if you want to make it to the NFL, keep yourself out of trouble and be a model person.

In conclusion, being a great athlete is not enough to make it to the pros. You must work hard both on and off the field. Be a person that your team can count on and be proud of. If you do this, you will increase your chances of being recruited by a college scout and making it to the pros.

Obama on O'Reilly Signals the President's Fake to the Center

President Obama was interviewed live by Bill O'Reilly during the warm-up to the Super Bowl. Mr. O'Reilly heavily hyped the interview as a clash of titans, as Mr. O'Reilly still cites his sit-down with candidate Obama as one of the few times that the President faced vigorous challenge by a media member during the days leading up to the 2008 Presidential election. The latest interview was not particularly news-worthy, as Mr. O'Reilly was careful to act deferential to the sitting President, while Mr. Obama was careful to come across as likable to an electorate that signaled its displeasure with the significant Democrat losses last November.

When Obama did the initial O'Reilly interview in September 4, 2008, the future President was coming off a grueling primary fight with Hillary Clinton during which Obama's handlers successfully painted him as the candidate of hope and change while she was depicted as part of the Washington establishment. A vote for Obama would be historical; a vote for Hillary would be to choose more of the same. Now, with the nomination in hand, Obama had begun the orchestrated move to the center. The American flag pin, conspicuously absent during Obama's carefully choreographed primary appeal to the Democrat base, was suddenly useful to a candidate wooing the center-right national electorate. The US flag miraculously appeared on candidate Obama's lapel.

Super Bowl 2012

Appearing on The Factor was part of the master plan to paint over Obama's steadfast liberal voting record, his public and private statements consistent with left-wing orthodoxy, and his unblemished support for "progressive" causes and association with radical elements as a community organizer and beyond. Many were deluded by Obama's center head-fake and voted him into office. However, after such job-killing, debt-producing and economy-wrecking policies as the stimulus, Obamacare, financial reform, cow-towing to the unions, domestic drilling shut-down, the EPA's war on American industry, and general unfettered spending -- liberal fantasies all -- Obama had shown himself to be the most left-leaning President in our nation's history.

Now, having implemented the devastating policies of his first two years in office and with an eye on reelection, President Obama is again faking a move to the center. When he lacked the votes to roll back the Bush tax cuts for higher income earners, Obama feigned bipartisanship by agreeing to continue the tax cuts for two more years. After the horrible Tucson shooting led to deplorable and unfounded blame-casting by the angry left, the President called for civility. Having mired small businesses and other job creators in stifling big-government regulations, Obama wrote an editorial in the Wall Street Journal criticizing regulation.

Obama's second appearance on O'Reilly's The Factor was the next step in this orchestrated head-fake to the center. But the proof lies not in what the President says, but in what he does.

The grand tax compromise will end in two years - what then? The President and his advisers have expressed their readiness to make class warfare -- those so-called "tax cuts for the rich" -- their battle cry for the 2012 election. While with one hand Mr. Obama wrote his editorial speaking of the evils of regulation, with the other hand he has been directing his army of bureaucrats to implement oppressive regulation of the Internet, financial institutions, radio airwaves and greenhouse gas emissions. While the President called for civility in the aftermath of the Tucson atrocity, he was silent when a member of his own party in Congress compared Obamacare opponents to Nazis.

For now, the administration is enjoying a poll bump-up coinciding with the Potemkin shift to the center. Those numbers will change when the public realizes that this purported move to the center, like Mr. Obama making nice with Mr. O'Reilly, is all facade.

Brainstorming Bowling Team Names

Creativity, originality and memorability (is there such a word?) do not just happen. Especially when it comes to making up your bowling team names. If you are you still looking for that striking (get it?) name for your bowling team then what you need is a good old fashioned brainstorming session? There are some simple rules and strategies you can follow when creating your own team name. Rule number one for a fun bowling team names session is "no name is too lame". In fact the more the team groans at any suggestion the better the name.

Rule number two is write ALL bowling team names down because you probably won't remember them tomorrow because of rule number three. This is Pythagoras' theorem of team names, where the sum of the fun is equal to the sum of the square of the other two ingredients, beer and pretzels.

Super Bowl 2012

Rule number three is "always make time for a rhyme". Start with a word related to bowling and come up with as many cute or better still raunchy rhyming words as you can. Here are a few to get your poetic juices flowing.

STRIKE, HIKE, LIKE, TYKE, PIKE, DYKE.

SPLIT, WIT, FIT, TIT, HIT, ZIT, MIT, PIT.

GUTTER, FLUTTER, UTTER, MUTTER, STUTTER, PUTTER.

Now I know what you are thinking and I just have four words for you. Remember rule number one and have another beer. I guess that's eight words so it's a good thing the machine counts the pins for me.

If you want to avoid cute rhyming then you could try the strategy of picking one or two of the above words and put them together with an adjective for a little more pizzazz. Go for something with a good ring to it, or a little alliteration. Such as;

'Strikes unlimited', (or more honestly, 'strikes every now and then')
'Crazy Pin Prowlers'
'Bowling Braves'
'Soft Shoe Shakers'

OK, OK but remember rule number one! I highly recommend you explore the puns and wordplay. A good start is to think of a common phrase that happens to use one of those bowling related words in the list. Simply reuse that phrase and you automatically have a bowling team name with a double meaning. For instance, "Spare Change", "Wildcat Strikes", or "Alley Ways" are regular phrases that work well for bowling team names.

If you want to get even more experimental and want a more complex pun, you can try thinking of words, phrases, movie titles, or celebrity names that sound similar or rhyme with bowling terminology. Top of my list would be, "Spare Wars", "The Umpire Strikes Back", "Return of the Dead-eye", "The Magnificent Five". Or try swapping similar-sounding words in and out of a bowling phrase. Here are a few more ideas along those lines...

Thunder Bawl, Changing Lanes, Alley McBowl, The Mis-Splits, Bowlfinger, The Tenpin Commandments, Axis & Alleys, Split-finger Fast-bowl, The Pin Pricks The Incredibowls. Oh I could go on! Anyway, whatever bowling team you come up with the important thing is to remember rule number one and that bowling isn't real life. It's much more important than that!

ACLS and the Super Bowl

Only moments into the second quarter and already the first knee injury cast a dark pallor over the team roster during the Super Bowl. Commentators frequently tossed the acronym "torn ACL" about as they discussed the injured player's status while spectators watched as he was nearly carried off the field and out of the game.

So what is with the constant barrage of acronyms used in the medical profession (and what do they all mean), you may ask? These are letters symbolizing lengthy medical terms frequently Latin in origin and most certainly difficult to pronounce. For example, ACL is 'short' for anterior cruciate ligament, aka the outside connective tissue of the knee. A torn ACL is very painful and, as those of us watching the game witnessed, will pull even the strongest out of the biggest national football game of the year.

Super Bowl 2012

Yet, the title of this article contains an additional letter within its acronym leading one to believe that ACL (the outside ligament of the knee) is different than ACLS in the title. That assumption is correct! ACLS is another acronym utilized by medical professionals to identify an advanced training and skill set for providing life support to victims of sudden cardiac injury or death. To be ACLS certified means that medical professional has been trained and possesses the lifesaving skills necessary to intervene on an advanced level. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is not the standard Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR (cardio-pulmonary resuscitation) program taught to the general public. Medical professionals are trained in ACLS protocols for pre-hospital and inter-hospital emergencies. These skills save lives and are mandatory to provide this type of advanced care. It is with confidence, that as the patient, you can rest assured you will be in good hands should the unexpected emergency arise.

So let's say "goodbye" to this football season and wish those players who suffered a torn ACL a very speedy, successful recovery. As the leaves change color and a new season of games are played out, another host of football fanatics will be glued to the their TV sets as next season's Super Bowl gathers fans to witness the ravages of the game. Smile a little on the inside knowing, as you hear 'torn ACL' announced over the TV, that the stadium medics will be treating an injured knee and not delivering advanced BLS or CPR aka advanced cardiac life support (ACLS).

American Steps Against Childhood Obesity

A few years back, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) came out with a four-year study entitled "Prevalence of Overweight and Obesity Among Children and Adolescents: United States." It revealed that over nine-million American children between the ages of six and nineteen are overweight, approximately three times higher than it was in 1980.

Children who are obese typically grow up to be obese, especially when the parents of the child are obese as well. The CDC study has helped motivate the American people to start looking at themselves and their children, and to take steps in order to fight the growing childhood obesity problem in our nation.

Nfl 2012

Many nutrition and fitness experts have weighed (no pun intended) in on what they feel needs to be done to curtail this frightening trend of increase in American childhood obesity.

One aspect is to improve school food. Not only does school food have a direct impact, it also sends a message to kids. If fatty-foods are being sold, impressionable young children are being taught that eating these types of food is acceptable. An education-institution should be just that, not just in the classroom but the cafeteria as well. Fixing school cafeteria food would help educate kids on how unhealthy treats are things that should only be eaten on occasion.

In that same vein, another step slowly being taken is improving the health level of food in snack vending machines. The elimination of these vending machines is not the solution, but changing the snacks that are served inside them can be. The state of California has already taken steps in this direction, recently passing a bill that prohibits schools from selling high-sugar liquids out of their drink vending machines.

A third step is the emphasis of physical activity for kids. Most experts recommend kids take part in an hour of exercise a day at a minimum. Major American institutions, such as the National Football League, have initiated movements to help motivate kids to exercise. For example, the NFL runs the NFL Play 60 campaign, which is "designed to tackle childhood obesity by getting kids active through in-school, after-school, and team base programs."

The fight against childhood obesity has gotten support from some surprising sources as well. For example, the Dr. Pepper Snapple Group recently announced they would "improve product labeling by listing calories more prominently on containers, vending machines and fountain equipment." PepsiCo also pledged to list calorie content on the front of its drink vending machines by the end of 2012.

With the help of schools, sponsors, and the state and federal government, America will be able to not only attack the childhood obesity issues that it currently faces, but defeat them.

Figuring Out Tax Consequences of Mortgage Debt Forgiveness

To say it has been a rough few years in the housing market is like saying there was a small party in New Orleans after the Saints won the Super Bowl. The housing bubble didn't burst. It blew up like a hydrogen bomb. Unfortunately, this has resulted in many people losing their homes through foreclosure or short sales. Both events have tax consequences.

The pure strangeness of the federal tax code has been commented on repeatedly by many people. Perhaps no where is it stranger than when considering how to handle debt that is forgiven. How so? Well, the tax code is set up in such a way that it considers the relief of debt as...income. Yes, you read that right. If I owe 0,000 on my home and short sell it for ,000 less than what I owe, I technically have a gain of ,000 on my income and must pay taxes on it.

Super Bowl 2012

Now the government has recognized that most people are in bad shape if they lose their homes. As a result, they've come up with a bit of legislation that helps people avoid the income tax consequences of mortgage debt forgiveness for the years 2007 through 2012. The legislation is known as the Mortgage Forgiveness Debt Relief Act of 2007.

The process works fairly simply. You can avoid paying income tax on up to one million dollars in mortgage debt forgiven as a single individual or two million as a married couple. The debt must be applicable to your primary home. It applies to the money used to buy or build the home. It also applies to any refinance debt that was used to improve the home. Refinance money that was used for other purposes is not covered.

To claim the exemption, you need to fill out Form 982. You should also receive a 1099-C from the lender in question. Make sure you check it closely to affirm that the numbers reported are correct.

The Controversy of Bullfighting in Barcelona

Most people associate Spain with paella, Picasso and pretty flamenco dancers, but the one thing that everybody associates with Spain is bullfighting. I was one of them until I decided to live here, and discovered that this view of the country was a very narrow one. However, is spite of that, each of these aspects of Spain are nevertheless very important aspects of its culture or cuisine.

The bullfighting in particular is typically Spanish, and if you want to experience a bullfight while you are visiting Barcelona you should do so soon, because it is rapidly dying out and shortly to be banned. From 2012 bullfighting will no longer be permitted in Greater Catalonia, including Barcelona, by order of the local parliament.

Nfl 2012

So head for the famous Plaza de Toros Monumental Barcelona while you are here, because it may be your final chance to see bullfighting in Spain. Over the last few years this tradition, which has been an important aspect of Spanish culture for centuries, has rapidly been dying and bullfights in Spain have dropped by a third in recent years. The main reason for this has been due to local government cuts affecting the funding that the activity relies upon.

La Monumental, as it is referred to in Barcelona, now holds only a dozen bullfights a year, and is now the only arena left in this part of Spain. Although bullfighting is an inherent part of the Spanish way of life, animal rights activists have campaigned hard to have it banned throughout Spain, and groups such as Equanimal have been very successful in their activities.

Although the recently-announced ban in Catalonia is believed by many to be a manifestation of the deep-rooted aspiration of Catalans to become independent from Spain, emanating largely from the way they were treated during the days of Franco, it is nevertheless perceived by Spaniards all over the country as a barbaric and cruel activity. Some believe that bullfighting is regarded as being typically Spanish, so by banning it the Catalans are seen as being different.

My own sympathies lie with the activists, and I personally have never visited a bullfight, even though I live close to La Monumental. Others disagree, regarding it as a Spanish tradition that should be maintained. This passion is exemplified by the toreros, who pass their skill down from father to son, and they enjoy celebrity status in the same way as Premiership footballers in the UK or NFL quarterbacks in the USA. They are hunted down by both the paparazzi and beautiful women, and their bravery is undeniable. The clothes they wear in battle with the bulls are designed to show off their manhood and every muscle in their body. Any ordinary man would run a mile when presented with such a suit.

Bullfighting started in La Monumental, in 1914 when its doors were first opened. Its name then was Plaza de El Sport, although that quickly changed and by 1916 was known by its current name. The architecture is a combination of Byzantine and Moor, and is prominent for its great beauty amongst the more severe office buildings and apartments on the corner of Gran Via and Marin. You can't miss its bright blue and white tiles and is a very imposing stadium, holding 19,852 people.

La Monumental has always ranked highly among the bullrings of Spain, and was regarded as one of the top three in the whole of Spain, along with Las Ventas in Madrid and Seville's La Maestranza. When it was built it added to the existing two stadia in Barcelona, La Plaza de El Torin that no longer exists, and La Plaza de las Arenas in Plaza España that is being converted to a shopping mall. This indicates a deeply ingrained love for bullfighting in Barcelona, even though it has now been banned.

Many of the aficionados visit La Monumental to see the 'corridas', as bullfights are known in Spain, simply due to the high reputation the arena has all round the world. The season lasts from April to September approximately, and when not being used for corridas, it is a venue for music concerts, rock gigs and circuses. Among its famous events were a Beatles concert in 1965 (July 3rd), a Rolling Stones gig in 1976 and other concerts involving Bob Marley, Tina Turner and many others.

If you are interested, the Bullfighting Museum of Barcelona is contained in the stadium, and is open during bullfighting season. There you will find many artifacts related to bullfighting, including the heads of some famous bulls, posters and ticket stubs, famous matador costumes, old photographs and many other interesting things connected with bullfighting such as the branding irons of some of the more famous farms.

For the less strong-stomached among you, you can always watch television and see the bulls being stuck with swords or the toreros being gored by raging bulls. Ouch!

While on vacation, you will likely need information on apartments in Barcelona, and you will also have to book early. The city is a very popular tourist destination, so book your apartments in Barcelona for your vacation as soon as you can.
