Reasons I Recommend Gibbon Slacklines

I just started slacklining and bought one of the Gibbon slacklines and I have been loving it. Slacklining is a great sport for kids and adults and it is really easy to get in to. It's a great challenge, gives you a good workout and is a lot of fun. I highly recommend giving it a try.

I'd like to share a few reasons why I decided to go with the Gibbon slackline. If you're looking at buying a slackline I can highly recommend Gibbon. I've had mine now for several months and am very happy with my purchase.

Super Bowl 2012

Here's why I chose one of the Gibbon Slacklines:

I looked around the web some before buying a slackline to see what my options were and to try to find the best value for my money. Most of them are made very similar, so it didn't take me long to see that price was really the main factor for me in this purchase.

I should tell you that it is possible to set up your own slackline, but you do have to buy webbing and some other equipment to be able to do it. It's also a little tricky to get it tight enough. If you buy a slackline kit, you have everything you need and it is easy to get the required tension with the included ratchet system. The kits take about 2 minutes to set up and aren't really that expensive, so in my opinion they are well worth it.

The Gibbon slackline that I ended up buying was definitely very easy to set up and was significantly cheaper than some of the other options out there. Other companies that make them include Mammut and Trango.

Gibbon slacklines have a great reputation and are probably by far the most popular slackline manufacturer. Backpacker Magazine gave their slackline an Editor's Choice award in 2009. Their company also showed up in the 2012 Super Bowl halftime show when their sponsored athlete, Andy Lewis, was featured on stage with Madonna, doing tricks on one of the Gibbon slacklines.

Due to their notoriety and the price, it was pretty easy for me to decide on buying one of their slacklines. I've had the line now for several months and am very satisfied. It's easy to set up, seems like it will last a long time, and I can't think of any reason to buy one of the more expensive brands.

After wanting a slackline for quite a while, I'm very happy with the one I ended up buying. Gibbon lived up to what I expected and I recommend you give one of their slacklines a try.

Reasons I Recommend Gibbon Slacklines

The 7 Dimensional God & Ancient Mystery Religion

"The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and all science. He to whom this emotion is a stranger, who can no longer pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead: his eyes are closed" (Einstein). "My religion consists of a humble admiration of the illimitable superior spirit who reveals himself in the slight details we are able to perceive with our frail and feeble mind" (Einstein).

What mystifies you? What makes you stand in awe? What does your religion consist of? I would like to divide this article into 2 - Parts to discuss the following questions:

Super Bowl 2012

Part 1. Is there ancient historical evidence for a 7 - Dimensional God for All peoples of All religions?
Part 2. If so, Who is this 7 - Dimensional God?

As a foundation for this article, I would encourage you to read my two previous articles that support a seven dimensional theory of everything: Quote from the article: Contemplating a 7 - Dimensional Theory of Everything, "For from the farthest reaches of the cosmos to the atomic structure of a single cell within the body, the same dimensions of form and mathematics apply. The secret to life is in these forms and numbers. So by studying anything in life, we can learn the basis of all life everywhere. Modern scientists are re-affirming the ancient wisdom of ancient civilizations - that a consistent multidimensional design underpins every level of the universe, from atoms to the galaxies."

Before we go any further, I would like to apologize in advance for offending anyone's religious sensitivities, as this is a work in progress that is very, very far from perfect, and I am fully aware of my biases toward Christianity. I would also like to say that this article is intended for those that do not believe in God or are confused about religion. With the above disclaimer to having and/ or knowing the absolute truth, I would like to present what I believe to be the origins of ancient religious knowledge and ageless wisdom that give us some answers to how ancient civilizations viewed these questions.

Part 1: Is there historical evidence for a 7 - Dimensional God for All peoples of All religions?

The 7 Traditional Arguments for the Existence of God: In order to consider ancient religions, we must first assume that there is a God/Gods/ or Goddesses. Throughout astrophysical literature these 7 arguments are often referred to.

1. Cosmological Arguments: the effect of the universe's existence must have a "first cause."
2. Teleological Arguments: the design of the universe implies a complex order, purpose or direction behind it.
3. Rational Arguments: the operation of the universe, according to order and natural law implies a mind behind it.
4. Ontological Arguments: man's ideas or concept of God (his God-consciousness) implies a God who imprinted such a consciousness.
5. Moral Arguments: man's built-in sense of right and wrong can be accounted for only by the existence of objective morality or an innate awareness of a code of law--an awareness implanted by a higher being.
6. Anthropic Arguments: the basic facts of reality, such as our existence, are best explained by the existence of God.
7. Transcendental Arguments: science, logic, and ethics do not make sense in the absence of God, and atheistic arguments must ultimately refute themselves if pressed with rigorous consistency.

Note: Belief must be grounded in faith and can not be based on rational intellectual arguments alone. For example: If you could argue someone into believing that God exists, then you could probably argue that same person into believing that God doesn't exist.

The 7 Major Expressions of "Present Day" Religions: To support evidence for the present existence of God, we will consider the major influences of religious expression on the world population today and look to their origins. According to "Major Religions of the World Ranked by Number of Adherents, there are 7 Religious Expressions that account for 98% of our present global population:

1. Ancient Mystery Religions - 6% (includes primal-indigenous - African, Traditional)
2. Judaism -.22%
3. Hinduism - 14%
4. Buddhism - 6% (includes Zen)
5. Chinese Traditional - 6% (includes Folk Taoism, Confucianism, Shenism)
6. Christianity - 33% (includes Catholic, Protestant, Eastern Orthodox, Pentecostal, Anglican, Monophysite, AICs, Latter-day Saints, Evangelical, SDAs, Jehovah's Witnesses, Quakers, AOG, nominal, etc.)
7. Islam - 21% (includes Shiite, Sunni, etc.)

"Nonreligious" (includes - agnostic, atheist, secular humanist, and people answering no religious preference) - 16% or 109,868,560 people. (World population was 6,866,800,306 on Sep 05, 2010).

Note: Total adds up to more than 100% (102.22) due to rounding and because upper bound estimates were used for each group. Although the above list of 7 major forms of religion accounts for approximately 98% of the world's population, this is not a complete listing of world religions as there are over 4,300 distinct faith groups covering all countries of the world (See adherents.com/ Religions for further details).
The 7 Major Expressions of Ancient Religions and the 7 Dimensions: "For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities-his eternal power and divine nature-have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse," (The Bible, Romans 1:20).

It is clear from the above verse that God has revealed himself to all humans throughout history -even prior to the development of religions. Following are the above 7 major world religions with some of their 7 - Dimensional influences and dates founded:

1. Ancient Mystery Religions: The 7 Days of Creation (Prehistory)
2. Judaism: The 7 Spirits of God (2000 B.C.)
3. Hinduism: The 7 Chakras (1500 B.C.)
4. Buddhism: The 7 Points of Proper Religion (523 B.C.)
5. Chinese Traditional: The 7 Lucky Gods (270 B.C.)
6. Christianity: The 7 Gifts of the Holy Spirit (30 A.D.)
7. Islam: The 7 Heavens (610 A.D.)

The 7 - Dimensions of Ancient Holy Scriptures - Worldwide: It appears that the number 7 is the universal sacred number that represents spiritual perfection and divine completeness, and it is referred quite often in sacred literatures worldwide.

1. Ancient Mystery Religions: The oldest evidence for the belief in some form of God of the afterlife are Neanderthal burial sites estimated by anthropologists to be approximately 70,000 years old. The corpses in these graves were buried with various supplies carefully arranged around them to prepare them for the afterlife.

Prehistory religious scriptures include: The 7 Days of Creation (Genesis: 1:1 - 2:3), The 7 Colors of the electromagnetic spectrum of the rainbow (Genesis 9:8), The 7 Archangels: In the letter of Jude 1:14-15, the New Testament makes reference to the first Book of Enoch that names the 7 as:
1. Michael, 2. Gabriel, 3. Raphael, 4. Uriel, 5. Raquel, 6. Zerachiel, and 7. Remiel. Legend has it that these 7 Archangels stood in the presence of God Almighty and reflected the 7 Rays of Light from God's throne in Heaven to the Universe.

2. Judaism: The most frequent references to the number 7 are found in the Bible's Old Testament. According to the NIV Complete Concordance - there are approximately 395 references that include the following: 7 days (Gen. 8:12, Lev. 13:33), 7 years (Gen. 11:12), 7 altars, 7 bullocks, 7 rams (Num. 23:1), 7 weeks (Deut. 16:9), 7 priests, 7 trumpets (Jos. 6:6), and the 7 Spirits of God (Isaiah 11:2) that represent and make up the perfect and complete Holy Spirit.

3. Hinduism: The Rig Veda has many references to 7 regions of the earth (I.22.16), 7 rivers (I.32:12), 7 tongues of agni (I.58:7), 7 singers (I.62:4), 7 castles (I.63:7), 7 strong floods (I.72:8), 7 rays (I.105:9) and 7 sisters (I.164:3). The most popular of all Hindu sacred texts the Bhagavad-Gita Gita contains 700 verses. Number 7 also permeates in various walks of Hindu mythology as well. There are 7 sages--the Sapta Rishis; the Sapta Loka--the 7 worlds; the Sapta Pura--the 7 holy cities; the Sapta Dvipa--the 7 holy islands; the Sapta Samudra--the 7 holy seas; the Sapta Parvatta--the 7 holy mountains; the Sapta Arania--the 7 deserts; the Sapta Vriksha--the 7 sacred trees and so on (Blavatsky, 1880). Vedavyas (1998) mentions about the 7 grades of human consciousness (physical, vital, mental, intellectual, super-mental, spiritual and Divine).

4. Buddhism: The mystery of number 7 has enraptured the Japanese as well. Ancient Japan was founded around 7 districts. In Japanese folklore, there are 7 Buddhist treasures and 7 deities of good luck mentioned above. Japanese Buddhists believe people are reincarnated only 7 times, and 7 weeks of mourning are prescribed following death. The list goes on and on -- the 7 ups and eight downs of life, the 7 autumn flowers, the 7 spring herbs, the 7 types of red pepper, the 7 transformations, and the popular 7-5-3 festival held each November for children. Girls (age 7) are welcomed into womanhood and allowed to wear the obi (decorative sash worn with kimono). Their 7 virtues are candor, fortune, amiability, magnanimity, popularity, longevity, and dignity.

5. Chinese Traditional Religions (including India and Japan): The 7 Lucky Gods of Ancient - India, China, and Japan - The Shichifukujin are an eclectic group of 7 deities from India, China, and Japan. Only one is native to Japan (Ebisu). Three are from the Hindu-Buddhist pantheon of India (Daikokuten, Bishamonten, & Benzaiten) and three from Chinese Taoist-Buddhist traditions (Hotei, Jurojin, & Fukurokuju).

Additional religious scriptures - Zoroastrianism & Sikhism: In Zoroastrian texts too we see references to number 7. The earth is referred to have 7 regions (Yasna 32:3) or 7 quarters (Yasna 57:23). In Sikhism: The Guru Grant Sahib, the scripture of the Sikhs, frequently refer to 7 seas (p. 840, 1036), grain of 7 kinds (p. 695), 7 musical notes (p. 886), 7 nether words (p. 1039), 7 threads (1196), 7 continents (p. 1392), 7 body elements (p.23), 7 handful of ashes (p. 150), 7 singers (p. 368), 7 pools of ambrosial nectar (p. 436) etc.

6. Christianity: The New Testament has approximately 95 references to the number seven to include the 7 basic Gifts of the Holy Spirit and the 7 fruits of the Holy Spirit.  In Romans 12:6-8, Paul lists the 7 basic gifts (vocations/ ministries/ occupational passions), that represent the seeds of all occupations. I will further expound on some of these 95 verses below.

7. Islam: The Qur'an refers to 7 seas (31:27), 7 heavens (2:29) and even 7 earths (65:12)! Also 7 days fast (2:196), 7 kings (12:43,46) and 7 gates (15:44). It is for no reason that Muslim pilgrims go round the Ka'ba 7 times. In the history of Islam, prophet Muhammad had permitted 7 different readings of the Qur'an (Bukhari, VI No. 514), though only one of these have become popular these days.

The complete Christian Bible containing the Old and New Testaments may have the most frequent references to the number 7 as there are approximately 490 (70 times 7).

7 Dimensions and the Fall of Jericho: "Then the LORD said to Joshua, See, I have delivered Jericho into your hands, along with its king and its fighting men. March around the city once with all the armed men. Do this for six days. Have 7 priests carry trumpets of rams' horns in front of the ark. On the 7th day, march around the city 7 times, with the priests blowing the 7 trumpets. When you hear them sound a long blast on the trumpets, have all the people give a loud shout; then the wall of the city will collapse and the people will go up, every man straight in" (Joshua 6:2-5).

7 Dimensions and the Trinity: God the father (7 Spirits), God the Son (7 Stars), God the Holy Spirit (7 Gifts)

7 - Spirits 7 - Stars 7 - Gifts
1. Power Michael Serving
2. Lord Gabriel Leading
3. Knowledge Raphael Teaching
4. Understanding Uriel Mercy
5. Wisdom Raquel Giving
6. Counsel Zerachiel Counseling
7. Fear Remiel Prophecy

Once again, we see God manifesting His 7 dimensions. All 7 of God's Spirits are necessary to make up the complete Holy Spirit, just as each of the 7 colors of the rainbow make up the white light. God's 7 gifts of the Holy Spirit are necessary for men to come together to pray to God for wisdom and truth to identify their individual gifts to serve God and man - thereby exhibiting the 7 fruits of the Holy Spirit.

Since our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit - created with 7 energy centers or Chakras, we are able to absorb the 7 colors of the visible light spectrum and reflect and give back to God and others the 7 Rays of light (Our 7 Auric Colors), as an offering of Praise, worship, and service. In this Mysterious Order, the 7 dimensions are part of an integrated process for all things that come: From God - Through God (Our bodies being temples of the Holy Spirit) & To God. Some believe that these 7 dimensions govern all of God's creation and are the original divine qualities of God that represent a certain Sevenfold division of everything that exists in the manifested world, to include life and matter. These 7 major types of Light-Substance (Spirit/ Matter), (Waves/ Particles) are believed by some to compose the created universe.

Jesus & 7 Dimensional Forgiveness: If he sins against you 7 times in a day, and seven times comes back to you and says, 'I repent,' forgive him" (Luke 17:4). 77 times (Matthew 18:21-22).

Jesus & the 7 Dimensional Miracles: Then he (Jesus) took the 7 loaves and the fish, and when he had given thanks, he broke them and gave them to the disciples, and they in turn to the people. They all ate and were satisfied. Afterward the disciples picked up 7 basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over. The number of those who ate was four thousand, besides women and children (Matthew 15:36-38, Mark 8:5 -20).

Jesus & the 7 Dimensions in the Book of Revelation: 7 is said to occur some 490 times (70 X 7) from Genesis to Revelation. In the book of Revelation there are the: 7 Spirits of God (Rev. 1:4), 7 Lamps (Rev.4:5), 7 Seals (Rev. 5:1), 7 Horns (Rev. 5:6), 7 Eyes (Rev. 5:6), 7 Trumpets (Rev. 8:2), 7 Angels (Rev. 8:6), 7 Thunders (Rev. 10:3,4), 7 Angels (Rev.10:7), 7 Thousand People (Rev.11:13), Red Dragon with The Beast with 7 Heads (Rev.12:3), 7 Crowns (Rev. 12:3), 7 Last Plagues (Rev.15:1), 7 Golden Bowls (Rev.15:7), 7 Hills (Rev.17:9), and the 7 Kings (Rev.17:10).

If the above ancient religious scriptures along with the scientific knowledge of the previous two articles give us sufficient evidence for an international/ universal, omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient - 7 Dimensional God, then who is this God?

Note: Considering all the evidence above for a 7 Dimensional God - does not mean that I believe in, rely upon, or trust in it. Although I don't believe that every idea that is not backed up by a biblical scripture is harmful, I do think that we should screen all new information that contradicts basic biblical principles. For example - the bible clearly condemns worshipping other Gods. The first Commandment: "You shall have no other Gods before me."

Part - 2 Who is this 7 - Dimensional God?

The Apostle Paul had to explain to the religious people of Athens just who this unknown God was. "For as I walked around and looked carefully at your objects of worship, I even found an altar with this inscription: TO AN UNKNOWN GOD. Now what you worship as something unknown I am going to proclaim to you. The God who made the world and everything in it is the LORD of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by hands. And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything, because he himself gives all men life and breath and everything else" (Acts 17:23-25).

The following verses from the New Testament and the Old Testament may give us some clues to consider who is the 7 Dimensional God.

Jesus's 7 Stars & the 7 Golden Lamp Stands: "In his right hand he (Jesus) held 7 stars, and out of his mouth came a sharp double-edged sword. His face was like the sun shining in all its brilliance (Revelations 1:16). "The mystery of the 7 stars that you saw in my right hand and of the 7 golden lamp stands is this: The 7 stars are the angels of the 7 churches, and the 7 lamp stands are the 7 churches" (Revelations 1:20). The above verses indicate the Jesus is holding the 7 angels who are guarding the 7 churches in his right hand.

Zechariah's Vision of the 7 Eyes & the 7 Lights: "See, the stone I have set in front of Joshua! There are 7 eyes on that one stone, and I will engrave an inscription on it,' says the LORD Almighty, 'and I will remove the sin of this land in a single day (Zechariah 3:9). "What do you see?" I answered, "I see a solid gold lamp-stand with a bowl at the top and 7 lights on it, with 7 channels to the lights.... 'Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,' says the LORD Almighty.... "(These 7 are the eyes of the LORD, which range throughout the earth.)" Zechariah 4:2-10).

But you may be asking yourself, how can Jesus be this 7 Dimensional God if he did not even exist in Old Testament times - prior to the development of: Judaism, Hinduism, Buddhism, and the Chinese Traditional Religions. Fortunately, he gives us the answer to this question: "I tell you the truth," Jesus answered, "before Abraham was born, I am!" At this, they picked up stones to stone him, but Jesus hid himself, slipping away from the temple grounds (John 8:58-59).

Many Biblical theologians believe that Jesus Christ came to Earth at various times before the New Testament as Melchizedek, and these appearances are called Christophanies or Theophanies The New International Version Bible's profile on Melchizedek (researched by over 100 Bible scholars) suggests that Melchizedek was: "A person in the Old testament who some believe really was Jesus," and report that "Melchizedek was the appearance on earth of the pre-incarnate Christ in a temporary bodily form." (NIV: Pg. 30 -33).

7 Christophanies: (Appearances of God in bodily form/ Christ as Melchizedek in the Old Testament)

1. Gen 3:8 (And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden)
2. Gen 14:18 (Jesus appears as Melchizedek)
3. Gen 18:3 (And said, My Lord, if now I have found favor in thy sight, pass not away, I pray thee, from thy servant.)
4. Gen.32:24-30 (Jacob wrestled with a man and says he has "seen God face to face."
5. Ex.13:21 (The LORD was going before them in a pillar of cloud by day...)
6. Josh 5:13 (the "Man" who appears to Joshua identifies Himself as "the commander of the army of the LORD," and He accepted Joshua's prostrate worship, whereas angels refuse such worship.)
7. Dan. 3:23 (When the fourth man in the furnace is described as "like a son of the gods.")

7 Times - In the Order of Melchizedek (Who is this Melchizedek?): "You (Jesus) are a priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek." The foundation of Jesus's Priesthood is based on being - "In the Order of Melchizedek." It is documented 7 times in the Bible (Psalm 110:4, Hebrews 5:6, Hebrews 5:10, Hebrew 6:20, Hebrews 7:1, Hebrews 7:11, Hebrews 7:17).

7 Similarities of Jesus and Melchizedek:

1. Both have the title of "Priest of God Most High" (Hebrews 5:6, Genesis 14:18, Psalm 110:4 )
2. Both have the title of "King of Righteousness" (Hebrews 1:8, Hebrews 7:2)
3. Both have the title of "King of Peace" (Isaiah 9:6, Hebrews 7:2)
4. Both have "Indestructible lives and Eternal Priesthoods" (Isaiah 5:6, Hebrews 7:3)
5. Both were Pre-existent - or existed before they were born on earth (Micah 5:2, Proverbs 8:22-31, Hebrews 7:3)
6. Both have the titles like the "Son of God" (Mark 1:1, Heb. 7:3)
7. Both are Appointed by God, and did not depend upon genealogy as the Aaronic priesthood (Hebrews 7:14, Hebrews 7: 3)

Ok - So what does all this mean? I would suggest that you pick up the New Testament and read in the book of Hebrews, Chapters 5 threw 10 in order to gain a better understanding of Melchizedek.

The Apostle Paul & Melchizedek: It is interesting that the Apostle Paul gives us the following warning in Hebrews 5:11-12, right after discussing Melchizedek (Hebrews 5:10): "We have much to say about this, but it is hard to explain because you are slow to learn. In fact, though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the elementary truths of God's word all over again. You need milk, not solid food!"

The following verses may give us some more clues to reveal who the 7 - Dimensional God is:

1. God said to Moses, "I am who I am. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: 'I AM has sent me to you,' (Exodus 22:13).
2. Jesus: "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End,"(Revelation 22:13).
3. Melchizedek: "Without father or mother, without genealogy, without beginning of days or end of life, like the Son of God he remains a priest forever (Hebrews 7:3).
4. Jesus: "I tell you the truth," Jesus answered, "before Abraham was born, I am!" (John 8:58).
5. In John 1:1-3, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made."
6. In John 10:30, Jesus says that to see Him is to see the Father.
7. Later in John 14:7-9, Jesus adds that to know Him is to know the Father.

Many Bible scholars believe that Melchizedek was the appearance on earth of the pre-incarnate Christ in a temporary bodily form. It was Melchizedek who delivered God's Covenant to Abraham and introduced the revolutionary concept of salvation through pure faith to the thinking of the planet. It is Melchizedek who is believed to be the Father of the 7 Elohim (Angels of the Divine Presence), that reflect the 7 Rays of Light.

Abraham and Melchizedek: Melchizedek brought out bread and wine (Communion) and blessed Abram (Abraham) - the father of all monotheistic religions (Judaism, Christianity, Islam, etc.). Abraham in turn tithed to Melchizedek (gave him 10% of all the booty collected after defeating Kedorlaomer and the king's allied with him (Genesis 14: 18-20).

Melchizedek is mentioned again in Psalm 110: "The Lord has sworn, and he will not repent: You are a priest forever, according to the order of Melchizedek" (110:4). This psalm is considered one of the most important of the Messianic psalms, identifying the forthcoming Messiah, our Lord Jesus Christ, as King, Priest, and Conqueror.

Church History and Melchizedek: The Church honors this image of Melchizedek. The Catechism teaches, "the Christian tradition considers Melchizedek, 'priest of God Most High,' as a prefiguration of the priesthood of Christ, the unique 'high priest after the order of Melchizedek'; holy, blameless, unstained, by a single offering He has perfected for all time those who are sanctified, that is, by the unique sacrifice of the cross". "The Church sees in the gesture of the king-priest Melchizedek, who brought out bread and wine,' a prefiguring of her own offering."

The Dead Sea Scrolls and Melchizedek: The Dead Sea Scroll discovery of 1947 that validates the authenticity of our Bible today - revealed the Messiah to be a reincarnation of Melchizedek. These scrolls from the Jewish Essenes that were discovered affirmed that they believed Melchizedek would reincarnate as the Messiah.

In essence, Melchizedek returned to earth after 2000 years in the bodily form of Jesus Christ to restore God's people back to a Royal Priesthood of Believers - a Holy Nation to worship the One True God (Monotheism). This was accomplished by putting aside the Old Covenant with it's Aaronic/ Levitical Priesthood and it's temple worship rituals to establish the New Covenant with Christ as our High Priest and mediator - "who did not enter a man-made sanctuary that was only a copy of the true one, but He entered heaven itself, now to appear for us eternally in God's presence" (Hebrews 9:24).

Discussion: The above historical evidence may support a 7 Dimensional God for Christianity and Judaism, but what about the other religions? The Apostle Paul asked this same question: Is God the God of the Jews only? Is he not the God of Gentiles (All others: atheists, agnostics, and other religions) too? And this was his answer: "Yes, of Gentiles too, since there is only one God, who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through that same faith," (Romans 3:29).

Now as a Christian, I believe that I am saved by grace through faith in the righteousness of Jesus Christ (Eph. 2:89). However, the Bible gives several examples of men in the book of Hebrews - Chapter 11 (Abel, Enoch, Noah, & Abram) who believed God and by faith it was credited to them as righteousness. Abel, Enoch, Noah, and Abram (who later was renamed Abraham) were not Jews or Christians. This ancient mystery "religion" of the Old Testament has one High Priest - Melchizedek.

The 7 Dimensional God of the Bible however, does not provide salvation for any particular religious "group" including Christianity or Judaism. God initially chose to bless the nation Israel who was to become a kingdom of priests and a holy nation where anyone could approach God freely (Exodus 19: 5-6). However they broke his covenant - so God had to temporarily establish the Levitical Priesthood with it's temple worship (organized religion).

With the coming of Jesus, God has once again extended his plan to all believers and established the New Covenant in which all believers are to become a holy nation and royal priesthood (1 Peter 2:9, Revelation 5:10). Unfortunately, organized religions of today still rely on "Old Covenant" Christianity - with it's Priest/ Parishioner, Clergy/ Laity, and Pastor/ Congregation models and their temple/ cathedral/ mega-church building worship.

Jesus condemned the organized religion of his day 7 Times, and I believe he would condemn it today. "Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! (Matthew 23:13 - 29). This may sound shocking, but Jesus did not come to bring us another organized "Old Covenant" religion called Christianity. Melchizedek came back as Jesus to establish the New Covenant.

Conclusion: I would propose that the 7 Dimensional God of the Universe is Jesus Christ who is our High Priest in the order of Melchizedek. I would also propose that he accepts people from every nation, culture, and yes - even every religious background or up-bringing (Jews, Hindus, Buddhists, Chinese Traditionalists, and Moslems, etc.) who recognize his eternal power and divine nature and believe in Him as their God and put their faith in His righteousness for their salvation.

Jesus simplified all religion my saying: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. 'This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself. 'All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."

One final word - The 7 Dimensional God of all creation came back to us to proclaim a New Covenant (Luke 22:20), stating that he would make the Old Covenant with it's temple worship and human priesthood obsolete, and "what is obsolete and aging will soon disappear," (Hebrews 8:7). So what is the New covenant? See Jeremiah 31:33, for now. It will be revealed in 2012.

This article was not written and should not be viewed or considered to be a formal scientific or theological treatise on ancient civilizations, spirituality and/ or religion. It is merely a simplistic introduction to these topics to reveal how critical they are to the human experience with the hope of assisting individuals to reassess their values, and reexamine their priorities to redefine what is really important in their lives.

My intent is not to persuade, influence, convince, or convert anyone to my personal beliefs, but to increase respect and religious tolerance for people of all nations and cultures. My goal is to help others to clarify and identify where they presently stand at this point in time, so that they can consider charting a course to get from where they are to where they desire to be someday. After all, you cannot make flight reservations if you don't know what airport you will be departing from.

Super Bowl Appetizers

Whether you're a football fanatic watching your team play in the ultimate game or you just love a good get together, Super Bowl parties have become a winter tradition. If you're going to throw a proper party, you need to serve great food. Instead of opening a bag of chips and letting guests fend for themselves, try some of these classic game-friendly appetizers to get your guests cheering for you at halftime.

Guacamole Dip

Super Bowl 2012

Avocado sales reach their highest point in early February because of the Super Bowl. That's because just about everyone loves guacamole, the cool creamy avocado dip that makes a delicious counterpoint to a hot, spicy salsa. Skip the jar and make your own guacamole in minutes. Just mash some avocados with a fork, sprinkle on salt and pepper to taste, and stir in a dash of sour cream and a squeeze or two of lime juice. You can make the basic recipe your own with fresh minced garlic or onions, a spoonful of salsa or a twist of lemon instead of lime. Leave it chunky or mash it smooth according to your taste. Serve it with a big bowl of tortilla chips, salsa and sour cream for dipping.

Nachos

Another hit during Super Bowl Sunday, nachos are practically synonymous with football party food. Make your own loaded nachos for game day with a few ingredients you probably already have in your kitchen. Saute ground beef in a skillet until it's fully cooked, then drain away the excess fat. Stir in taco seasoning or your own spice blend with cumin, chili powder and onion flakes. Shake tortilla chips onto a baking sheet and top them evenly with the meat mixture. Open a can of refried beans and spread a few spoonfuls on the chips.

Add shredded cheddar and Monterrey jack over the meaty chips and pop them into a 350-degree oven until the cheese melts thoroughly. Transfer the chips to a serving tray and bring on the party guests. You can top the nachos with cool sour cream, fresh salsa, pickled jalapenos or homemade guacamole.

Buffalo Wings

Hot, spicy, buttery and flavorful, buffalo wings are far easier to make at home than you might think. Make the wings in batches to keep them hot and fresh. Make a spicy flour mixture to coat the wings in a sealable plastic bag. Add flour, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, salt and black pepper to the bag and shake it to mix the spices. Add a dozen raw wings at a time to the flour mixture and shake them until they're coated. Transfer them to a baking sheet and refrigerate them for a couple of hours; this helps the wings keep their form during cooking.

Heat your oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit; while the oven's heating, mix a cup of melted butter with hot sauce - Louisiana natives Tabasco or Crystal are perfect for wings - to taste. Dip the chilled, floured wings into the butter and replace them on the baking sheet, then bake them for about 40 to 45 minutes or until they're cooked through. Turn them once during cooking.

Classic buffalo wings are served with celery slices and blue cheese dressing, but you can mix up the formula with ranch dressing or crisp green pepper slices.

Indianapolis to Host Super Bowl in 2012

Indianapolis Super Bowl 2012

Indianapolis has definitely been excited since the NFL awarded the 2012 Super Bowl to the city. Already, the 2012 Indianapolis Super Host Committee has been formed and is undertaking the arduous task of making the 2012 Indianapolis Super Bowl an event to remember. They have set up the official site at OUR2012SB.com and you can expect many updates and changes as the planning moves past the initial phases.

Super Bowl 2012

Why Should Indianapolis Host the 2012 Super Bowl?

If you live in or around the Indianapolis area, you definitely know the answer to this question. Put simply, Indianapolis is a great place to live and is also home to the Indianapolis Colts, winners of Super Bowl XLI. So why shouldn't we share our wonderful city with the rest of the 60,000 plus football fanatics (uh, fans) that will pack the city during the festivities? We've got plenty of excellent places to eat and entertainment to spare and we'll be taking it all up a notch in 2012.

Jobs for the 2012 Indianapolis Super Bowl

Of course, since Indianapolis is hosting this event in 2012, we will need your help with the planning and execution of everything related to the game and festivities. If you are looking for a fun job and love football and planning, then you might be just the right person to help out. On the official site set up by the host committee, there are already a dozen or so jobs listed, so you may want to go ahead and dust off your resume'. Just be aware, that applications for positions will not be accepted until a bit later this year.

Be a Volunteer for the Indianapolis 2012 Super Bowl

If you are not interested in applying for one of the jobs available but still want to help out with the festivities, consider volunteering. We need all the help we can get in bringing this exciting event to Indianapolis. One of the most valuable resources at major sporting events in and around the Indianapolis area is the volunteers who work tirelessly to bring such events to fruition. This event is no different and your skills and help will definitely be appreciated.

Sensory Diet Activities For Children With Sensory Processing Disorder

Many activities can provide needed vestibular (movement) and proprioceptive (body awareness) sensory input for children with sensory processing disorder. A sensory smart pediatric occupational therapist can design a unique sensory diet for your child that incorporates such activities, which will help keep a child's sensory needs met throughout the day and, over time, actually retrain his system to function more typically. Alas, parents often find themselves frustrated by their child's unwillingness to participate in activities that would seem perfect for meeting the child's sensory needs. This makes it difficult to carry through the sensory diet at home and at school when the OT isn't there coaxing and coaching the child.

It can be a challenge to find activities that provide movement (vestibular input) and compression and pulling apart of joints (proprioceptive input) that the child with sensory issues will willingly engage in. In part, this is due to the increased anxiety kids with SPD and/or autism experience (remember, children with autism almost always have sensory processing issues but a child can have sensory processing disorder without having autism). Often, individualized sports and private lessons, such as bowling or swimming, where the child doesn't feel she has to compete with others who are more coordinated than she is, are a good bet. Physical activities that incorporate other interests, such as dancing to music she likes, can be excellent choices because the child's natural attraction to some aspect of the activity may help get her past her anxiety about her lack of body awareness and coordination. Martial arts and yoga work well for many kids with SPD, in part because they can be individualized and involve body awareness and minimal stimulation (for instance, there isn't a lot of noise or children moving about quickly when they practice).

Super Bowl 2012

At school, the child with SPD (sensory processing disorder) may need an adaptive gym class at school in order to be able to get the sensory input she needs without going into sensory overload, withdrawing, or becoming upset and even aggressive.

Whether at school, at home, or away, always consider the environment in which your child with sensory issues is exercising. Is it echoey, with the squeak of sneakers against a hardwood floor? Can she stand the smell of chlorine at the pool? Think about ways to alter the environment so she can better tolerate it. Perhaps your child would be better off with a dance class that involves quieter music, no mirrors, and a smaller group. Pools that are kept clean without chlorine and activities in an open field, large room with few echoes, or on a nearly empty playground may be less distressing for her.

If the child is verbal, ask him what is making him reluctant to engage in the activity. It may be that his system needs to be perked up with energizing music or a little super sour candy because he is in a state of low arousal. Or, it may be that he is feeling hypersensitive and uncomfortable in his body, and needs some calming, focusing activities before engaging in something more active and stimulating.

Planning for the activity, giving concrete information and details about what is involved and the sequence of activities, and working with the coach or teacher to accommodate your child's reluctance can all make it easier for your child with sensory processing issues to push himself to get the sensory input his system needs. Whenever possible, work with a sensory smart OT who can observe your child, analyze what is holding him back, and help you to strategize ways to get him moving. You might be surprised at how much your OT is able to get your child to do in the low-pressure, inviting environment of a sensory gym where he is free from the eyes of curious onlookers and is receiving support for working through his anxiety as he tries new activities. Once past his initial fear of, say, a swing, he may be willing to try it out in a different environment, such as on the playground.

Every child's sensory needs are different. The more you and your OT know about your child and ways to accommodate his needs with clever strategies, activities, and toys and equipment that make movement fun, the easier it will be to meet his sensory needs. Over time, these activities will increase his comfort in his body and environment. Develop sensory smarts and you can help your child to do so as well.

NFL 2012

Another NFL football season is on its way and what a great way to start off the season. The Packers and the Saints delivered a great game yesterday night by show boating two of the top offenses this season. The QB play of both teams showed why they are called elite. I predict that they will be somewhere in the end.

This weekend does not let up. There are the Steelers and the Ravens which is an intense rivalry in itself. The Jets and the Cowboys will square off as both Ryan coaches will be on opposite sides of the football field. Its always a special opening weekend for the NFL. People will drive to the stadium, tail gate and have a party cheering on their teams. Everyone will wear their teams jerseys and colors and root for the home team expecting greatness. Opening weekend is for every fan's hopes of having their team represented in the Super Bowl. I am biased with my prediction for the upcoming season like all Steelers fans. I believe that the Steelers will be fine this season. I believe that they will be there in the end as well. Other teams to watch are the Patriots, Eagles, Chargers, Falcons, as well as the teams I mentioned above. Some teams that might surprise are the Bears, Texans, Buccaneers, and maybe the Lions. It is a long season and some might bow out and some might be kicking the door down to the playoffs and to the chance of winning the Super Bowl.

Nfl 2012

Some of the questions this season are who will be the most valuable player in the league and who will help their team reach the pinnacle of winning the Super Bowl. Some of these players that have a very good chance of winning are Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady, Drew Brees, Ben Rothlisburger, Philip Rivers, Joe Flacco, or possibly Matt Ryan. Obviously, these are quarterbacks with outstanding teams, but without an array of great players on the team, no matter what the quarterback does, it is a hard road to having success in the playoffs. All playoff teams to advance to the Super Bowl have shown that they are a complete team with very special players, especially at the quarterback position. Having a great defense obviously helps.

So, who will it be this year? Which team will hoist the Lombardi Trophy? My biased prediction are the Steelers. So, let the season begin with your favorite team's success.

States Rights: The State of Legal Marijuana

The United States of America is a union that consists of 50 vast and different states. The State of the Union speech is the President of the United States of America giving his observations and report on how the union of the 50 states is functioning. (and if you are really counting you must take into consideration Washington DC and some territories that America presides over such as Guam). The states that contain the union, in certain situations and areas, govern themselves; setting the tone and climate for administration of some or all of public resources, including labour, and wealth. America is currently in the midst of a libertarian movement that is increases in intensity as states seek to wrest power to enforce public policy in certain areas and situation in lieu of the federal government.

The past 3 years have seen several clashes between the different state governments and Washington DC. The State of Arizona is currently engaged in a very heated struggle with The Obama Administration about the enforcement of security at the Arizona - Mexico border. Texas has also expressed its own needs and interests in dictating policy of the security of their own Mexican border. Violence is on the rise on the borders of these states where the vast desert acts a portal for the smuggling of illegal drugs, illegal immigration and outright human trafficking.

Super Bowl 2012

The battleground of states rights vs federal government has not seen a brighter stage than the issue of same sex marriage. The debate is personal and intense and crosses many different areas of contention. The issue was brought to the forefront of the American consciousness by George W. Bush as he sought to turn the tide of the 2004 United States presidential election against the Democratic party nominee John Kerry. Bush stated that marriage should be defined as the union of a man and a woman and that same sex marriages should not be recognized in The United States. The ensuing years have seen some states legalize same sex marriage, many others vote their states same sex marriage down and countless debates and court cases going back and forth in this battlefield in the war for political power between the states and Washington DC.

The next potential area for conflict in this never ending union dance with federal government will be legal marijuana in America. The growing consensus is that it is just a matter of time before one of the states in the union, with the smart money betting on California, Colorado or Michigan, will end their prohibition of marijuana and legalize its recreational possession and use. Medical Marijuana is already out of the closet and never to return. City and state governments that have legalized medical marijuana are already profiting and allocating funds received in the taxes generated and this revenue is not going to be eliminated now that the states have had a taste of this new budget windfall.

California attempted to legalize recreational use in November 2010 with Proposition 19. Voted down by a 54-46% margin in a midterm election, the pieces were not completely in place for victory. The issue will come back with a vengeance in 2012 and early observations are that the new proposition will be written with a more inclusive attitude toward the state's legal marijuana culture and include the concerns of growers, defense lawyers and dispensaries. The 2012 election will be a presidential election and thus will include a bigger turnout of the younger voters of the population, the very core of the populace that most voting registration drives aim at and coincidentally which happen to be a huge block of the yes to recreational marijuana base.

The federal government seems to be in a quandary if one of these states actually does break away from the Just Say No federal stance on all recreational drugs except tobacco and alcohol. The push came to shove last October when it looked like Proposition 19 had a chance to pass in California, forcing Obama Administration Drug Czar Gil Kerlikowske to issue the following statement on recreational legal marijuana:

"Legalization is being sold as being a cure to ending violence in Mexico, as a cure to state budget problems, as a cure to health problems. The American public should be skeptical of anyone selling one solution as a cure for every single problem. Legalized, regulated drugs are not a panacea--pharmaceutical drugs in this country are tightly regulated and government controlled, yet we know they cause untold damage to those who abuse them.

To test the idea of legalizing and taxing marijuana, we only need to look at already legal drugs--alcohol and tobacco. We know that the taxes collected on these substances pale in comparison to the social and health care costs related to their widespread use."

Clearly the federal government is not on board with legal marijuana in California sponsoring the Super Bowl Half Time Show in 2020. How does a state's citizens respond to this statement when their population votes on an initiative that could help their economy to recover from the most serious economic crisis in their state's history? Does the federal government have a right to tell a private citizen that even though they have voted on a principle in majority that they still do not have the freedom to exercise this right as afforded to them through popular vote?

Thomas Jefferson, was quoted as saying "The government which governs least, governs best". The Jefferson authored Declaration of Independence, the very document that the federal government is founded on, declares that we all have "certain unalienable Rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness." The federal government will seek to deny citizens rights they have afforded to themselves through their state's popular vote, clinging to aging and archaic rhetoric. The stance and posturing does not govern least and it certainly does not govern best; denying their citizens the life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness that is professes its very existence for.

World Events & Promotional Products - The Perfect Tie In

It is easy to buy an imprinted pen or calendar and hand it out at your next trade show or sales call. But it is often a one shot deal. As a marketer, you want to find different ways to get your brand or services out there for clients and prospects to see.

McDonald's and Burger King have tied burger promotions to popular movies and tv characters for years with great success. We are not saying your little business should contact MGM or Warner Brothers, but you can certainly find plenty of tie-in opportunities in the news.

Super Bowl 2012

Take for instance the current swine flu epidemic. The so called H1N1 virus is pretty serious business. But it also gives you a chance to be part of the solution while you show off your logo or name. Custom imprinted hand cleaners and sanitizers will be well appreciated by everyone you hand them out too. They even make ideal handouts for employees. You want your staff to be healthy, and you certainly do not need a pandemic in your workplace.

With all of the talk about 2012 and the end of the world, you certainly can find humor in a "going out of business sale". You may not want to get too political, but there is plenty of humor in Washington and our state governments that would make a fun gimmick.

How about the weather. Soon it will be snowing in most parts. Why not be the first to hand out an ice scraper or snow brush. You guessed it, with your logo and contact information printed right on the handle. You can also create winter walking billboards by distributing knit hats or outerwear with your logo embroidered in full color.

Sports? Yep. That, too. Major events like the Super Bowl and March Madness are around the corner. There's nothing like the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat to attract the attention of men and women to your brand.

The same goes for entertainment. The Academy Awards are very popular in many demographics and an "Oscar" themed promotional product can glamour up any dull theme.

So, watch the new and come up with some fun ideas. Your existing and future customers will sure take notice. Your employees will pick up on your motivation or safety theme. And you will be involved in a promotional activity that is above the mundane.

Jets Schedule Updated After Historic NFL Lockout

The NFL has arrived for the 2011-2012 season and football has never been more fun. The New York Jets, part of the American Football Conference (AFC) are one of three teams that New Yorkers claim each year. And this year the Jets schedule is going to make for some great football. The NY Jets Schedule kicks off with a Monday night football game against the Houston Texans and includes one other Monday night game.

Founded in 1959, the NY Jets were originally called the Titans of New York and officially became the Jets in 1963. The Jets schedule is crafted each year to allow them to share their home-field (New Meadowlands Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey) with the New York Giants - theirs is the only arrangement like it in the NFL. Each team owns 50 percent of the stadium. Did you know that while they are officially called the New York Jets, the team actually plays its games in New Jersey! The same is true of the NY Giants and their shared field. The team once called Shea stadium its home field.

Nfl 2012

Even though the team has not won a Super Bowl since 1968, Jets tickets are hard to come by. Each and every New Yorker has their team and the Jets are a fan favorite. Fans will notice the Jets schedule 2011 will not be an easy one. Regular season for the team starts out with a match-up against the Dallas Cowboys and the team will meet up with both of NY's other teams - the NY Giants and the Buffalo Bills.

Additionally, the Jets schedule includes a game against the New England Patriots, their long-time division rival. This rivalry has roots dating back to a playoff game in 1966, where the Jets beat the Pats and took them out of the running for appearing in the first Super Bowl. This season, the NY Jets schedule includes a match-up with the New England Patriots in New England. This game will be in week five so it may not be a deciding factor in how the season plays out but for fans it is an important game.

The rest of the Jets schedule may not be an easy one. The team faces the Baltimore Ravens, the Denver Broncos and the Oakland Raiders in away games and the Miami Dolphins, the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Diego Chargers at home. The Jets also have a rivalry with the Miami Dolphins so each season fans look forward to the match-up between these two.

It is not often in the Jets schedule that they play the New York Giants (after all they do share a home field) however, this year the teams will meet up twice. One game will be played in preseason with the Jets acting as the away team and the other game will not come to fruition until week 15 when the Jets get to act as the home team. The 2011-2012 season will be one Jets fans will not soon forget.

Make Money Online From the NBA Playing in London?

6th October 2009, and the Chicago Bulls beat the Utah Jazz in a preseason NBA game in London. You can use this event to make money online using the affiliate marketing method, and here's how...

The NBA is big business, and a big part of that success is merchandise - things like team tops and hats, etc. There are websites selling merchandise that allow you to sign up as an affiliate for free, and once you register you earn commissions on any sales coming from traffic that you send to that site.
Sounds great, eh? But of course you need to generate traffic in the first place before you can send it on!

Nfl 2012

This traffic generation can also be done for free, and the easiest way to do it is by just giving your opinion! The NBA playing in London is a subject which gets the fans talking, and discussing online.

You could write about the possibility of a regular season game coming to London, which the NBA would like to do before the London 2012 Olympics. Or, you could focus on the problems that the NFL had trying to get established in Europe, and whether the NBA's situation is different.

When you've given your own view, either on a blog or social site, or in an article, it's at the end that you put a link to the site that can make you money.

If that formula sounds simple, then in essence it is! Yes, there are techniques along the way, but they aren't hard to learn. The great thing is that you can repeat the technique! After the London game there was Spain and Tapei on the schedule, so each of those games gives something to discuss for basketball fans. Bearing that in mind, you can see that's it certainly possible to make money from the NBA playing in London.

Make Money Online From the NBA Playing in London?

Gordon Bryan is a writer and marketer from the UK. He loves the fact that he earns money online by just writing about events in the media spotlight, just like the NBA coming to London. Fantasy Football 2010 Final QB Rankings

The 2010 fantasy football campaign is complete and here is how the QB position ranked with a heavy emphasis on went went down this season.

1. Tom Brady
2. Drew Brees
3. Philip Rivers
4. Peyton Manning
5. Michael Vick
6. Aaron Rodgers
7. Joe Flacco
8. Matt Ryan
9. Jay Cutler
10. Tony Romo
11. Matt Cassel
12. Ben Roethlisberger
13. Eli Manning
14. Matt Schaub
15. David Garrard
16. Josh Freeman
17. Sam Bradford

Super Bowl 2012

-Tom Brady once again has elevated himself to the number 1 spot in the fantasy football QB ranks and it took him two season to get back there after going through his knee injury in 2008. Brady was downright ridiculous with his TD to INT ratio and he threw a TD pass in every game this season. The best part was that Brady's value was lower than its been in years as he went fifth overall among QB's in my money league. Needless to say I was more than happy to nab him anad use his skill to win my league's top spot.

-There was a little bit of slippage in Peyton Manning's stats this season and he threw the most picks in his career since his rookie season. Some blame surely lands on the fact his receiving corps was decimated with injury but Manning also made some poor throws which we are not sued to seeing. Still he was money in the playoffs when it counted and he likely will slip into the second round next season where he makes a great value.

-Philip Rivers was awesome this season and he was one guy I was wrong about. I was worried about his offensive line and the fact Vincent Jackson was holding out. Despite all that, there were additional injuries that affected just about every receiving threat on the roster. Still Rivers was crazy good all season until the fantasy playoffs arrived where it seems he and the team lost their steam. Without a doubt Rivers is a top 5 option for next season.

-Michael Vick obviously is the story of the season and he no doubt will appear on many fantasy football winning teams this week. Its truly remarkable how great he has been and it will be interesting to see what happens next season as far as whether he re-signs with the Eagles. The offense is perfectly suited for his talents and if Vick does re-sign, he will likely put up similar stats in 2011.

-If I were to ask you who had the secon best TD to INT ratio in fantasy football, I guarantee it would take you more than 10 guesses to come up with Matt Cassel. Cassel was a preseason curiosity after finishing strong in his first season with the Chiefs last year but he bombed out in September and was cast aside by everyone. Once November arrived however, Cassel was utterly fantastic and he finished with an almost 3-TD gem in the fantasy football Super Bowl game. At the very least Cassel makes the perfect backup for next season but he clearly has earned starter status in most leagues.

-Joe Flacco was a guy I raved about all preseason and I told anyone who would listen to draft the guy. Needless to say I got a ton of angry e-mails in September after he too bombed out by I was fully confident he would turn it around. That he did and than some as Flacco finished with great stats to the tune of 25 TD and only 9 INT. Up and up we go here as Flacco is knocking on the door to the top tier guys.

-Eli Manning ruined what was looking like a potentially great season with a terrible INT rate. He completely flamed out Sunday with 4 picks against the Packers and no doubt he cost some a title. Manning is too skittish for me to trust as a full time starter but he makes a great backup.

-Matt Schaub was another one who let down and I did a feature on this weeks ago. Injuries to his offensive line and receiving corp hurt but an MVP-type season from RB Arian Foster should have helped the passing game more than it did. I still like Schaub and he will come much cheaper next season which makes him very attractive. This is a great stock to buy for 2011 if you dont want to go with a top QB early in your draft.

-Green Bay's Aaron Rodgers was up and down all season as he fought through a concussion and injuries to his receiving corp. Still he went bonkers with 4 TD in the title game and he remains a top 3 guy.

-Tony Romo finished ranked 10th on this list but he will certainly move up as we approach 2011 due to his skill set and the offense he plays in. Romo just has to stay healthy and he will yield big results.

-Tampa Bay's Josh Freeman and St. Louis' Sam Bradford are the next class of stars who will take the league by storm. Freeman surprised me with how great he played all season but Bradford is the guy I am really excited about. Without a doubt Bradford will be a top 5 guy by 2012. You read it here first.

What to Expect At The Super Bowl

For the first time ever, Indianapolis is the proud host of the 2012 NFL Super Bowl. This Midwest city is long on experience when it comes to hosting major sporting events. So it should come as no surprise that Indy has pulled out all the stops in an effort to make this a truly awe inspiring celebration. The first thing noteworthy about this year's event is that the Stadium and the main pre-game festivities are all grouped together. The Lucas Oil Stadium, the Indiana Convention Center, and the Super Bowl Village are all within a block or two of each other. Located within these same blocks fans will also find the Circle Center Mall, opulent five star hotels, world famous restaurants, exciting night clubs, and charming pubs.

The NFL Experience will take place from January 27, 2012 through February 4th, 2012 and will be held at the Indiana Convention Center, located one block North of the Lucas Oil Stadium. Adult tickets are .00 and tickets for children under 12 years of age are .00. This event promises to be family friendly and is best described as an interactive theme park for NFL fans. The Super Bowl Village will be located on Georgia Street running due East of the Indiana Convention Center for three (3) city blocks. Georgia Street was recently renovated to accommodate the thousands of fans who are expected to declare this activity zone as party central. Live entertainment will be playing on two separate stages, while some of Indianapolis' most entertaining establishments cater to the fans.

Super Bowl 2012

Other Indianapolis neighborhoods will also be catering to Super Bowl fans, including Mass Ave., Fountain Square, and Broad Ripple. Public transportation will be running between these entertainment satellites in order to provide fans with an easy and convenient way to get from one place to another. Super Bowl fans coming to Indianapolis in February can visit the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum, located approximately 6 miles west of downtown. An extensive collection of cars and racing memorabilia can be viewed at the Museum, and if the weather is fair, you can even take a ride around the world's most famous oval. For those who don't get a chance to visit the Museum, the Indy 500 will be coming to them, courtesy of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Celebrating Indy's racing heritage, this year's Super Bowl will pay tribute to the Indianapolis 500 Mile Race as 36 Super Cars bearing logos of one of the NFL teams or an AFC or NFC conference insignia will be on display in and around Indianapolis. Each car will be located at a particular location of special interest, called a Super Celebration Site.

By giving visitors a chance to seek out their favorite team's car, members of the Super Bowl Committee hope to give fans a unique and free photo opportunity that brings Indy's racing heritage to the forefront of this event. Other nearby attractions which are sure to score big points with Super Bowl fans include the Indiana State Museum and its IMAX theater, the NCAA Hall of Champions, Cracker's Comedy Club, St. Elmo's Steak House, the Indiana Children's Museum (amazing for adults too), and the Slipper Noodle Inn (Blues bar, opened in 1850). With so much to see and do in Indy in 2012, you better come early if you want to see it all.

The Workhorse Comes Back To Work

Larry Johnson has finally ended his holdout with the Kansas City Chiefs. The pro bowler concurred to a six year contract extension earlier this week. The Chiefs running back set the all time NFL record for attempts last season with 416; furthermore, he set the all time Chiefs franchise record in rushing with 1749 yards.

The details of the contract is a $ 43.2 million and $ 19 million guaranteed. This negotiation would make Larry Johnson in a Kansas City Chiefs uniform until 2012. Due to the long and arduous 25 day holdout, the superstar running back will be fined 7,000. The Kansas City Chiefs went 0 - 2 without Larry Johnson in the lineup, so having number 27 back on the roster is a welcome addition. With the departure of veteran quarterback Trent Green, the Chiefs are looking for anything to enhance the offense. Damon Huard went 5 - 3 as a starter last NFL season, and he did a respectable job as Trent Green's replacement.

Nfl 2012

The younger and inexperienced Brodie Croyle has not made any progress; therefore, it appears Damon will be the starter in week 1 of the regular season. Priest Holmes has also been in contact with the Kansas City Chiefs regarding a comeback with the team. He had an amazing three year span where he scored over 60 touchdowsn. Defenses have something to fear if both Priest Holmes and Larry Johnson are healthy throughout the duration of the NFL season. The Chiefs Even though the Chiefs are in arguably the most toughest division, they definitely bolster their chances of winning with Larry Johnson.

NBA Lockout - Check Out What Is Next For NBA's Highest Paid Players

The Employment Outlook today is tough for many people. According to The United States Labor Department, the average medium yearly salary is anywhere from ,00 to ,000. Depending on where you live, and your occupation. With two adults working, it's just enough to pay the rent, cars, insurance etc. But what if you earned a multi-million dollar salary, like many of our professional athletes. The NBA Teams are in a battle, a game of tug of war. This battle is between The Owners, and The Players. There are no real rules, and neither side is budging, as the season is slowly slipping by. With pre-season games canceled, and no agreement, Commissioner Stern now has kept his promise to cancel the first two weeks of regular season play. All NBA games, now canceled until November 14. Los Angeles Lakers, Derek Fisher is the Players Union President, and has been quoted saying that, "the players are not playing basketball because we are on strike, we are not playing because, The Owners have locked us out." The 1998-1999 NBA season was reduced to only 50 games. This was a strike. An agreement was not reached until January 1999. This Lockout could be as long. Some are saying there may not be a season at all.

While most NBA players make million dollar salaries, not all can afford to go an entire year without a paycheck. Rashard Lewis, Kobe Bryant, Paul Gasol, are some of the highest paid players. Lewis has a contract that pays him 8 million over six years. While there are plenty of players that are close to the minimum salary of 3,000. With that said, NBA Players are still in a far better position than the thousands of hourly workers that depend on the NBA's 6-month season. They are the workers that are employed at the arenas. Security, ushers, parking lot attendants, and restaurant employees. Most arenas are surrounded by hotels and restaurants that depend upon the basketball patrons. Orlando Florida, may be home to Disney World, and a hot vacation spot, but Orlando will feel the pinch as well. Last minute details are stalled for the NBA's 2012 All Star Games. The Games, are set to be hosted by Orlando Magic in their new Amway Arena. The All Star Games cover an entire week of games and events mainly held at Amway. Final decisions may be on hold.

Nfl 2012

So what are some of the players doing? Le Bron James was spotted playing football at his old High School in Akron, St. Vincent-St. Mary's. James had been reported talking to The NFL. This is not true. Kobe Bryant has been linked to rumors that he may sign a contract in Italy. Many Fans really do not have much sympathy for the Players or Owners. Together they provide a great and exciting basketball season, but to be unable to come to an agreement may be a matter of greed. Many people are asking, How did the salaries of professional athletes get so out of hand?

The NBA players are employees of their respective teams, and owners. So why, you may ask, do they want 53% of all ticket revenues? A 50/50 split is not good enough. They want to make more than their bosses. Overpaid players cut into franchise profits, and hurt the basketball business as a whole. Wizard Rashard Lewis was quoted as saying that. " I'm willing to sacrifice my salary to get a fair deal". In summary, both parties do agree on one fact. Nobody will be making any money, if nobody is playing basketball. It will be interesting to see the final results, and if we will learn anything from this.

Did Wisconsin Voters Shoot Themselves In The Foot?

The trials and tribulations of the Badger State continue to grow as its chances for an economic recovery become less likely. A shift in politic power resulted from the November elections. The promise was to lift Wisconsin out of debt, not raise personal taxes and make it an attractive place for business; but this has turned into a disaster. The fallout from this situation is likely to hurt the taxpayers of the state for years to come.

The new administration in Madison was faced with a multi-billon dollar deficit. It took steps to address the short-term problem of attracting new business to the state and encourage existing companies to hire by offering them tax incentives. Concurrently, the long-term issue of public employee salaries, benefits and pensions was also addressed. Since Wisconsin has one of the country's most lucrative teacher compensation packages, that's where the legislators began.

Super Bowl 2012

Wisconsin quickly became national news, because it is seen as a battleground state in the 2012 elections and the unions see their power in the public sector being challenged, and their political influence diminished. Unions have already been marginalized in the private sector, with less than 7% of workers belonging to these organizations.

Unions, both private and public, shipped people to the state capital to demonstrate and disrupt the legislation process while state senators from the minority party fled to Illinois to avoid voting on what they believed to be controversial legislation. They returned to their jobs after the bill was adjusted and passed. But a judge ruled against the new law and it is on hold as the legislation makes its way through the state's legal system.

Fearing the legislation will ultimately be decided by the state Supreme Court, currently ruled by a 4-3 majority that may uphold the legislation, unions mounted an effort to oust an incumbent judge and change the balance of power. This coincided with a statewide election in early April. There was a record turnout, but only a narrow margin separated the two candidates. A recount is next. At the same time, 16 state senators from both parties are facing recall elections. There is no suggestion of stability in the state, which is not encouraging for business or the residents.

Activists are feeling triumphant though some may not realize their efforts just sabotaged the state's future. This may not bother the unions, because they have kept the anti-government union sentiment from spreading. Although Ohio has just passed more stringent legislation, Wisconsin has remained in the forefront of the news.

When Illinois raised taxes this prompted Wisconsin to claim it was the business friendly state. With the unions showing new-found power, this notion will fade away and companies may consider Indiana, Ohio and others as better places to build plants and hire workers. So the unions have won the battle but may well lose the war in Wisconsin. As businesses move on to other parts of the country, the people of the Cheese State will have little to be happy about aside from being the home of this year's Super Bowl winner.

20/20 Cricket, Good for the Game

When 20/20 cricket was introduced by the ICC (International Cricket Council) to the cricketing world many a die-hard test match and one day cricket fan believed it would do more harm than good and it was not 'real cricket'.

Cricket is by nature a game of patience and endurance in test match form, but it is also a spectator sport. To many people test matches are boring, and although one day matches are fun they are just too long for some people. For this reason the new form of the game was developed.

Super Bowl 2012

20/20 cricket has revived the sport brining, perhaps, a more jubilant and younger crowd to watch a flurry of sixes and fours and run rates of seven to eight runs per over. Furthermore, with the advent of the ICC 20/20 world cup known as the 'ICC World 20/20', which was first held in 2007, and the Indian Premier League - sporting teams like the Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians with players from all around the world who normally play against each other playing as team mates (what a spectacle) - many people who had never before watched cricket are now fanatical supporters.

Despite the purists fears people still support test matches and one day games - now there is just more variety. Furthermore, it has brought in much-needed funds to the game and showed just how fast teams can score if they put their mind to it.

Stadiums are now normally packed to capacity for one day's and twenty-twenty games; and test matches are still seen as the purest form of the game.

The next ICC World 20/20 competition is to be held in 2012. Whether you are a religious cricket supporter or know nothing about the game, be sure not to miss it or at least give it a try. You will be bowled over for sure!

Profiling Georgia State University's Inaugural Football Season

The Georgia State University Panthers kicked off their inaugural football season this fall. After more than two years of preparation, the Panthers played their first football game on September 2 against Shorter College. The hard work paid off as Georgia State easily won that game 41-7.

The Panther's head coach, Atlanta native Bill Curry, was hired in June 2008. He has spent the past two years developing and directing every aspect of the football program. Curry has a long history of successful coaching at the college level. He is the former head coach at Georgia Tech, Alabama, and Kentucky. In 1985 Curry was named the ACC Coach of the Year. In 1989 he was the SEC Coach of the Year. Curry was also named the Bobby Dodd National Coach of the Year in 1989. Curry had a distinguished professional football career, playing a total of ten years for Green Bay, Baltimore, Houston, and Los Angeles. He was an NFL All Pro center, and played in two Pro Bowls and three Super Bowls. He began his college coaching career in 1980 at his alma mater, Georgia Tech.

Super Bowl 2012

The Panthers are playing in NCAA Division I. Their home games are played at the Georgia Dome. In 2012 Georgia State expects to be admitted to the Colonial Athletic Association Conference. Their 2010 schedule includes seven home games and four away games.

The opening game win over Shorter College was impressive. The Panther's had 366 total offensive yards in the game. Their second game was a 14-23 loss to Lambuth. Two interceptions late in the game hurt the Panthers. The third game was a 27-34 loss to Jacksonville State in overtime. Their fourth game was an exciting 24-21 win over Campbell. A 30 yard field goal with one second left on the clock put the Panther's on top. Their record thus far is 2-2. The October 2 game is Homecoming. Their opponent, Morehead State, also has a 2-2 record.

Georgia State University's main campus is located in downtown Atlanta. The university was founded in 1913, and has a student enrollment of over 30,000 students. The university offers 55 degree programs at the bachelors, masters, specialist, and doctoral level. Georgia State is the leading urban research institution in the Southeast. Join with Panther fans and alumni as they cheer their new football team on to victory.

Top 2012 NFL Rookies That Will Make the Quickest Fantasy Impact

As always the NFL draft has come and gone and now its time to see which rookies will have a significant impact on fantasy football this year. At first glance the group doesn't seem as promising as usual, but if you delve a little deeper into the teams you might be surprised about the potential of this years rookie class. We've picked the top 5 rookies and even thrown a couple of sleepers in for those of you that like to take chances in the later rounds.

Julio Jones, WR - Atlanta Falcons

Nfl 2012

The Falcons traded up for Jones and for good reason, he is going to be a key piece to what is already a potent offense in Atlanta. With opposing defenses having to worry about Roddy White, Tong Gonzalez and Micheal Turner you can expect some big games out of Jones. The Alabama star is 6'4" and 200lb plus, but still has the speed to make game changing plays down the field.

Daniel Thomas, RB - Dolphins

The Dolphins have already made Thomas their starting running back for the 2011-2012 NFL season. With no other quality back on the team, you can expect him to pick up the majority of the carries. His running style fits perfectly with Miami's balanced offense, so you can expect to see some decent numbers out of Thomas. He did have nagging injuries in college but if can avoid the injury bug, you might be able to get yourself a number three back for a steal in the later rounds.

Austin Pettis, WR - Rams

Pettis was an integral part of those great Boise State teams over the past few years and should continue to be a difference maker in the very near future. The Rams were a much improved team last year without a true #1 wide receiver, so it makes sense that Pettis could develop into one of Bradford's favorite targets. Let's not forget that the Ram's play in the NFC West, which gives them 6 games against sub par teams. This fact alone potentially allows for some quality numbers throughout the season.

A.J. Green, WR - Bengals

Green is a tough pick here because no one is sure who is going to be throwing to him, with Carson Palmer more than likely done as a Bengal that leaves rookie QB Andy Dalton or Jordan Palmer. A.J. Green has the ability to be a big time receiver in the NFL but with two untested QB's throwing to him, it doesn't bode well for him. Though, if the Bengals can get any semblance of quarterback play this year, Green will be worth a good look.

Mark Ingram, RB - Saints

Ingram is another hard pick here because he will be in the mix with at least two other proven runners, Pierre Thomas and Chris Ivory. He will need to show that he is substantially better than those two if he is going to get a significant amount of carries in New Orleans. On the plus side both the backs that are in front of him are very injury prone and could open the door for Ingram to be the number one guy on a proven high octane offense.

Sleepers

Shane Vereen, RB - Patriots

New England would only have one decent option at running back in Danny Woodhead if Green-Ellis leaves like expected. If Vereen's quickness and receiving skills are up to snuff, fantasy owners might see some significant numbers out of him. Then again there is always the chance the Patriots sign 3 veteran running backs and you don't see Vereen all season.

Delone Carter, RB - Colts

The Colts have decided to work on their running game this off season in order to protect Manning. Last year teams abandoned their running attack because it was simply nonexistent when they tried. By drafting an offensive line early and getting Carter in what some people consider a steal, could prove well for fantasy owners that are willing to take a chance on the rookie. With Addai looking to walk and Donald Brown not exactly putting up the numbers the Colts want, Carter is likely to see the bulk of the carries. However if Addai stays or Brown proves more consistent, he might be regulated to the 3 back, taking away any fantasy value he might have.

An Introduction to the 49ers SF

The San Francisco 49ers, also known as the 49ers SF, the Niners , The Red and Gold or Bay Bombers are a professional American football team based in California. The team is a part of the Western Division of the National Football Conference. The 49ers SF, who started playing as a charter team of the All-America Football Conference (AAFC) in 1946, became a member of the NFL with the merging of the AAFC into the NFL.

The team, which has had some of the best runs in football history, specially in the 1980s and 90s , has been going through a bad patch in its history since the year 2002, losing against weaker teams, having poor playing spells and being dogged by controversies both within and outside the club. However, the team still has a major fan following, owing to its past successes which include five Super Bowl victories, five NFC championships and seventeen Division championships wins. The San Francisco 49ers are the only NFL team, apart from the Dallas Cowboys and the Pittsburgh Steelers to have won the Super Bowl a record five times. On top of this, the Niners have also been responsible for giving American football some of its greatest heroes like Steve Young, Joe Montana, Jerry Rice and Ronnie Lott.

Nfl 2012

Ever since their inception in 1946, the San Francisco 49ers have been based in San Francisco, playing all their home matches in San Francisco while having their club and practice sessions in Santa Clara. Unlike most football teams, the team has retained its first and only name, which is reminiscent of the California gold rush of 1849.

The 49ers had always been a mediocre team from the 40s till the end of the 70s, winning some matches while losing even more and their exploits were nothing much to either inspire a great fan following or to write home about. However, all this changed in the 1980s, when the team managed to win four Super Balls in one decade. Not only this, they missed the playoffs only twice during these ten years. It was during these golden years that the team also threw up a number of superbly talented players like receiver and quarterback Joe Montana, receiver Dwight Clark and running back Earl Cooper.

As of late, apart from being mired in a number of controversies ranging from long drawn out battles over ownership to leaking out of non public training videos, the team also has not been making any great waves in the championships arena. The last and most recent brick in the wall has been the team's proposed move to Santa Clara for playing their games also. Around the end of the year 2006, negotiations that were on between the 49ers SF and the city of San Francisco regarding the building of a privately funded stadium came to an end with the 49ers management pulling out of the deal due to undisclosed reasons and deciding to move to Santa Clara for good. Last heard, plans were afoot to build a state of the art playing facility in Santa Clara, to be completed by the year 2012. This decision of the team management has delivered a further blow to 49ers SF fans in San Francisco.
